Great way to slow down fast eaters!
Our dog acts as if she is never fed, considering how quickly she eats her food. I swear sometimes I think she doesn’t even chew. In come this slow feeder puzzle toy to the rescue. While our dog was able to figure out how the toy worked only after 1 feeding, it still slows her down trying to find which compartment the food is in. We first tried this with treats, then we started to do this with her dry food. The build is surprisingly good quality. I was concerned this would be built with cheap plastic, but it’s been able to hold up against my dog getting rough with it while trying to find the food. It’s super easy to use as well and lots of fun to watch as they “hunt” for the which compartment has their treat/food. My dog is medium sized and weighs around 50 pounds.Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a way to slow down fast eating dogs.

    Love it, hate it.
PROS:- quick delivery- heavy duty- although it is made of toy plastic (not 100% sure of the exact material), the item seems indestructible to the chew of a dog thus far (the compartments and flaps are quite a tight frame so a dog’s mouth does not entirely fit in each spot anyways unless you have a very tiny dog)- appreciate they gave an extra one white flap in case one breaks- this toy gives 2 levels and 3 functions (1] push treats into flaps + open flaps, 2] human manually putting treats/kibble in each flap with no push and 3] push, flap, open)CONS:- at the time of this review, the product is listed as a black Friday sale of $23.92 (vs $29.90) with an additional 10% off coupon; it seems as if this company frequently offers redeemable offers (purchase 2 products, get 5% off)- made in China- arrived in a janky cardboard box but sealed plastic; surprised that there were not any bubble wrap- annoying tape of warning/instructions above the press canister- I wish the press canister made a sound to alert the pet of a positive reinforcement- moves around on the floor; there are no present adhesive pad(s) on the product to the floor to refrain/to keep the product from moving around as the pet plays with it- product only offers so many choices of fun- restricted/limited size: kibble/treat cannot be more than the size of kibble/dog food/chow or it will not fit through and drop into the compartments

My dog stared at me like I was crazy when I fed her dinner 30 min late in this. I showed her how to press the button and lift the doors then walked away. And look, she isn’t the brightest crayon in the box. Plus, I was worried the slots were kind of small for her to fit her nose in. But she ended up getting interested quickly, had no trouble getting food out of the slots, and ate her whole dinner from it in just a little longer than she normally eats with no problem. She even looked like she was having fun.I think she enjoyed it because she usually leaves some food, follows us around, begs for our food, stays in our business, and goes back later when she’s bored. During this meal, her full attention was on the toy and she didn’t walk away until she was done. She is a pretty ferocious aggressive chewer; she got excited and gnawed a gnarly hole in her treat puzzle so soon after getting it. But not this, so I think it’s pretty durable. The plastic is definitely thicker. Plus, it’s too large and awkward for her to pick up and toss around in zoomies mode like she does with the flatter, lighter treat puzzle. It washed up super easily and was easy to set to dry out. Doesn’t hold water. It’s a good price in my opinion–more the treat puzzle she already had but the same as all the other similar size and style feeders I been looking at.This item arrived super fast. It comes with extra doors that flip up, which I appreciate since I have a pretty destructive dog.I think this would be perfect if you have a pup who makes themselves hurl from eating too fast, eats soft toys but is bored with hard toys, has a low appetite, or just needs a little more excitement with their next toy or feeder. Good pick!! I recommend.

    Nice design and works well
Slow feeders are very important for dogs. Slowing down the eating process for healthier digestion and exercising their brains at the same time. This one is great. I was concerned about the plastic but it seems to be holding up well so far. Our dog really seems to like it. I think it takes some of the stress out of feeding time by giving her the confidence she knows she can do it.

Great for Larger Dogs, But Has Some Flaws
This toy is fantastic for dog enrichment, but it’s definitely better suited for medium to large dogs. My 10lb Maltipoo struggled to generate enough force to push down the middle dispenser and release the treats/food. However, when I tried it with my parents’ Doberman, she had no trouble operating it and seemed to enjoy it a lot.One downside is the suction cups on the bottom—they don’t work at all, making the toy slide around on our wooden floors. I’m unsure if this was a defect in the specific item I received or a general issue with all of the items sold.Additionally, I wish the description had included a difficulty rating (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3). That information would’ve been helpful in determining if the toy was suitable for my smaller dog’s ability to use it.Overall, it’s a well-made product that works great for medium to large dogs but might not be the best choice for smaller breeds.

    Dog Puzzle Toy Feeder
My dogs LOVE this. It’s made of very strong, smooth, plastic without any sharp edges or corners. My little dog would rarely eat her kibble, but when I put this out, she ate it all and wanted more. They love to hunt the food down in the pockets and will lift the lids to eat. Still working on them pushing the top, but just got it and so far, they are loving it. Pup approved!!
