Worked Wonders on Day One!
I just received the Whiskeroo Dog Paw Balm today and used it right away. My dogâs paws were feeling a bit rough after our walk outdoors. As soon as I applied it, I could feel how moisturizing it is. His paws already feel softer and more protected!The balm is super easy to apply and not sticky or greasy, which I love. Plus, knowing itâs made with natural ingredients gives me peace of mind since my dog tends to lick his paws sometimes. So far, Iâm really impressed and canât wait to see how his paws improve with continued use!

Good quality product!
OMG this paw balm for dogs is a lifesaver!!! My pups paws were getting all rough and cracked, especially after walks on the sidewalk. I was so worried, but this dog balm totally fixed it up almost immediately. Itâs super easy to use, and my dog didnât even mind me putting it in (and he usually hates stuff like this ). Itâs like a dog paw moisturizer but for real heavy duty paws. If ur dogs paws are dry or cracked this is a need! Thanks Whiskeroo!

Can’t Tell if it Works
We tried this on our Golden Doodle, and she was good enough to hold still while we applied it. Afterward, we put socks on her for ~ 30 minutes to let it absorb.Can’t really tell if it helped or made much of a difference. Will say I can’t see anything wrong with it either. Certainly, it smells good and seems like it would moisten your dog’s feet.

Dog Toxic Herbs
So I was prepared to write a 5-star review because this balm worked very well on my dogs’ paws. However, anything you put on your dog’s paws you can bet it will get licked off. Before I bought this product I reviewed the advertised ingredients. I wasn’t thrilled with the tea tree oil as tea tree essential oil can be toxic to dogs, maybe not in these quantities, so I figured I’d try it as it was labeled “lick safe”.Unfortunately, after putting it on my dogs’ paws I recognized another familiar scent and after checking the ingredients on the tin I confirmed it contained Lavender. Lavender essential oil is in general toxic to dogs, maybe small quantities are ok for some dogs but I have a dog with extra sensitivity to lavender which causes gastric issue when ingested. I would never have opted to try this product if I had seen the actual list of ingredients. I’ve included a picture of the back of the tin for anyone else with sensitive or allergic dogs.I gave this product a 1-star rating for not disclosing all ingredients while marking a dog product “lick-safe”.

I did try to use it on her nose because that looked chapped. The texture was like coconut oil. She licked it off and seemed to be fine. I think when this is needed its going to work great.

Fantastic Feel, Ideal for Repairing Dry Paw Pads
Whiskeroo Dog Paw Balm is a compact tin of luxury! The consistency is perfect – not too soft and messy, and not too hard and impenetrable. I am able to easily rub just a light touch of the balm onto the pads of each paw.While the tin is relatively small, the balm should last many months because very little is needed to moisturize and repair dry spots. If the paws are significantly dry and cracked, more balm may be necessary to heal the pads.There is no overwhelming odor – the balm has a clean, fresh smell. Once I rub the balm into the pads of the paw, there isn’t any oily residue (no paw impressions on the tile floor!). My fingers are also free of excess.I’m pleased with the performance and quality of this moisturizer. For active pups, this is a terrific treatment for protection and repair. This tin of balm is a great value.

Prevention is worth a pound of cure
While my fur baby has not had issues with his paws, as we travel with him more now and go to climates that are drier and harsher, we wanted to have something in preparation to prevent dry and cracked paws.So while I cannot comment on how well this works on paws that are dry and in dire need of repair, I can say the smell and consistency of the balm is as expected. The jar was also filled to the top.
