Well worth the price!
I have tried several different brands of sleep sacks and this is without a doubt the best. It is soft and warm and the zipper is an excellent quality. It is also very convenient that the zipper opens from the bottom so I don’t have to expose more of my baby than need be for middle of the night diaper changes. In addition the snaps on top of the shoulder are extremely convenient, a lot easier to put on than trying to get a wriggly baby’s arms through an armhole when they’re tired and grouchy. I hesitated at first because of the price but it is now the go-to sleep sack and I only use the other ones if this one is not clean. Sometimes you get what you pay for, that’s definitely the case with this sleep sack.

My first child had a Baby Deedee sleep sack that he used for several months. We really liked it, but alas, he was a terrible sleeper and after 6 months or so, we resorted to co sleeping so the baby stopped using sleep sacks. My second baby turned out to be a fantastic sleeper, who, at 7 weeks, transitioned to the size small Baby Deedee passed down from big brother, and has slept soundly in it since then, and transferred to a size medium at 4.5 months, being a tall baby. The size small was well loved between two babies, several months each, and survived lots of spit up and leaky diapers. It’s so easy to wash, and the fabric still looks nice. The design of this sleep sack is great. The snaps make it easy to put on a baby who is already asleep. Yes, it does make a sound as you pinch the snaps together, but that’s much less disruptive than wrestling with a baby’s arms and trying to fit them into small arm holes. The thickness is also another amazing feature. It’s very hard to find thicker sleep sacks for cold nights. We live in the midwest, where you really do need something quite warm in the winter. And even in the summer, we keep the AC at 71 degrees (which probably makes it around 68-70 degrees in the kids’ room), and keep a fan on (reduces SIDS risk!). I dress the baby in a long sleep cotton pajama, or even just a long sleep cotton onesie/bodysuit, and the baby stays warm and happy. This sleep sack is so perfect all year round. We did have a Halo sleep sack, but I used it only for a few days before I ditched it and invested in this much higher quality sleep sack. Great fit! But…IT’S SHEDDING WHITE FLUFF!!!
Size 6-18 months. I really love this sleep sack! It fits my 6 month old baby boy really well! It fits well around his neck and does not rise up over his mouth (which is the major concern of course!), but if he really bunches it up somehow or we put him in a sitting up position, he is able to suck on the fabric by his mouth. That doesn’t concern me though, because we only put it on him for bed where he sleeps in his crib. The inside is soft but could definitely be softer. The outside is not as soft. It feels squishy and comfy. I hope that it’s warm enough for our cold chicago winters. I can’t tell because I can’t wear it and see and it’s not super thick or heavy to make me think that it’s a winter blanket, but he doesn’t feel or seem cold when we take him out. His feet are warm so that’s good! His little hands get really cold sometimes though, so putting a sweater on him helps. Also, if it’s really cold, you can swaddle him good in a big baby blanket and then put him in the sack, but use your judgement to make sure the blankets couldn’t somehow get by their face. We do it sometimes and have no problems! There’s plenty of leg room, but not too much that it’s really hanging on him. I like the buttons by the shoulders and the zipper is thick and seems like it will last a long time! One major issue is that is has been SHEDDING white fluff from the outside of the sleep sack since the first day we got it and I hand washed it and hang dried it!! I worry that this will only get worse!! I can’t find any hole, tear or opening in the seem, it just appears that the entire outside is shedding white fluff that builds up. Hopefully this company has good customer service and can send us a new one. For $40, this should not be happening! I recommend this sleep sack IF the customer service is great!

I bought woolino hoping super high price and reviews will help my almost one year old sleep better. I wish I bought dee dee sooner! It’s soft and great sizes. It doesn’t shrink or stink like woolino in washing mashing and you can definitely use dryer(low temp)-great if accidents happened and need quick washing and drying! only one shoulder snap on each side- WAY BETTER and faster than trying to click all 4! If you have almost toddler you know faster is better!! Ever since I got dee dee -Sleeping Trough the night! Such a big change!!! Definitely recommend dee dee! Don’t waste your money on cute designs from woolino!
