As a service dog owner, paw protection and hydration is very important.**Soothing Balm:**- Packaging: The tin packaging is convenient for home use, and the creamier texture melts quickly on the paw.- Application: Since my dog has larger paws and because of the size of the container itâs easier to apply with the fingers and rub it in, the smoother consistency of the balm feels more like a cream.- Effectiveness: Despite sharing the same formula, the Soothing Balm seems to provide deeper hydration, making it my go-to for pre-outing application at home.**Paw Balm:**- Packaging: The thick paper tube is perfect for on-the-go use and is always in my purse for quick and easy application.- Application: The lip balm-like feel makes it easier to apply without having to touch it (perfect when you have winter gloves on!).- Effectiveness: The thicker consistency of the Paw Balm seams to provides, in my opinion, a better protective barrier, it doesn’t absorb as quick in the paw pad.**Overall Impression:**I am really pleased with both products, and i use them daily for my service dog’s paw care.**Customer Service:**I must mention this company’s exceptional customer service. The stuff worked amazing and is natural and not harmful anyway to your dog. My beautiful German shepherd was struggling with dry skin in her last months while she was sick, I massaged this into her paws and on her nose after a warm water soak, it gave her relief and she loved it, and she can lick it without any harm to her. It works great. she has since passed and it gives me great comfort knowing that I was able to provide her with relief for her symptoms in her final days. I still had a lot of this stuff left over and I donated to the Humane Society so other dogs can benefit from it. I miss my dog. rest in peace Zoey.

This balm is perfect to protect paws during the walk.When we came back home, there’s no more balm, I don’t need to wipe his paws. Paws are clean and soft.My dog tends to hurt it paws when walking but this seems to help.I’ll tell you more when snow will come.

I bought this for my two pups with extremely dry paw pads. Itâs dry where we live, especially in winter, their paws get dry, rough and cracked. Even with boots on outside. Starting using this balm, and after about 5 days of consistent use twice a day, their paws are silky soft and hydrated. I also dab a bit on their noses. Highly recommend!

I see people complaining about the application and I agree but to fix that just get some between your fingers rub together and it turns into a perfect paste to rub in paws/nose. My little guy is VERY fussy and iâve tried others. He hated them, to the point of foaming at the mouth. This one he actually loves and now that iâve been consistently putting it on he doesnât fight me anymore. I also do treat before and treat after. He has Hyperkeratosis and what a difference this has made!! At first i thought itâs a bit pricey but it goes a long way when applied with fingers and to me personally it was worth it. My dogâs nose and paws look smooth. Plus itâs Canadian so bonus ð¨ð¦
