After years of fighting with my dogs or paying to have nails trimmed inadequately, I bought this nail grinder/trimmer. My dog did not mind my using it on him at all. the trimmer is speed, quiet, and efficient. Two different grooves to place the nail, and it trims beautifully, and neatly. The dog really seems to like it. I will never use scissor type trimmers again!

Shaft is long and there is a bulbous tip which makes it too long for both my grinders since it rubs on the guard. Not worth my time to return it
