I had to purchase a smaller cat pan so it would fit in my new wood cat litter box. Fits perfectly, and even better is that it is easier to clean. Litter doesn’t really stick to it. A solid litter box
This cat litter pan is great for young kittens and also cats who are new to using a litter box. I have a young stray cat that likes to spend time on my porch and during cold weather will come inside. As the weather is now starting to get colder this litter box fits the bill. As other reviews have mentioned, the litter stays in and the weight of the pan makes sure nothing will move very far.

Too Low
It is also worth noting that the stamping and finishing of the stainless steel is well done and there is not a single sharp edge that could be dangerous to a cat on this product. It’s true to advertised dimensions. The powder coating on it is nice yet a little chalky feeling. The logo and brand name appears to be laser etched on and done well. Unfortunately that is where my positives end.It is just too shallow to be a quality practical product. I use pine pellets for litter and always put down just enough to cover the bottom of a litter box because it expands quite a bit when it absorbs moisture. My usual very thin layer of pine pellets was almost overflowing when it came time to change the litter. If your cats are messy at all when using the litter box then this litter box will do very little to contain what they toss around when digging. I understand that it is specifically advertised as low entry for kittens or senile cats but that should just be one of the four sides of the box. You know, the entry. Not the entire box! Three out of the four walls should be a couple inches higher. That would make this a 5 star product.The included letter stickers are silly and unhygienic in my opinion and the product would be better off without them. It also doesn’t have any anti skid feet or anything to keep it from sliding around on the floor. I have it on a rubber mat to catch some of the litter that spills out but otherwise it would be sliding all over the place.It MIGHT work slightly better with different litter but I don’t think there is a good alternative to having three higher walls and a lower entrance.At the time of review it is priced at $26 and that is too steep for this size of a litter box. I got a much larger (in every dimension) one for almost half the price of this one and it came with anti skid feet as well! Because of two major downfalls and a high price tag to boot, I can not recommend this product and would return it if I could.
