Bristles are sturdy yet not too hard
We have used a different brand in the past and they did not hold up well, so we purchased these. Our pony and donkey enjoyed watching my husband put them on the scratching pole and they were easy to install. Since this video the equine have been scratching and they seem to like them!

MY TWO MINIATURE GOATS LOVE IT…..
I bought this scratching brush especially for my two miniature goats who would typically rub against the wire mesh fence or post, but NOW they “run” to the brush! They massage their heads mostly, and at times I think I even see a smile…LOL. I installed it (at a convenient goats’ head height) right into a 6×6 wooden deck post simply by using long exterior screws. It is nice and sturdy…and adds a little color to the corral to boot! BTW: I checked which colors goats could see and liked best: Green was noted as being a good choice.

This livestock brush comes with everything you need to put it up. The brush is long and rounded so the large, long hardware is useful. The bristles are stiff and long enough to provide a nice scratch for the animal. The quality is very good and it has held up wonderfully being outdoors 24/7.
