Puppy loves it
This is a very sturdy, well engineered puzzle. My 4 mo old lab loves it. He hasn’t been able to destroy it. I love this thing!

Fascinating to the pup and fun for the human
This is very sturdy toy which offers many different ways to set up for play. I played together with my dog and she loved it. You can play for a couple minutes or maybe up to 15 minutes. Hopefully the easy way to change the method of play will keep this toy interesting for a long time.

Dog loves it!! Just a little too easy for him.
Update: I added a video of my dog, Echo, playing it. A piece got lodged so it was more difficult than normal and he still emptied it in less than a minute. But echo still loves this toy after 6 months!! That’s a good toy and it still looks brand new. Very durable and easy to clean. Very happy with purchase overall, but I’m buying another more difficult puzzle soon.Dog loves to play this game for 20-30 mins at a time! My dog LOVES ham and he gets pretty into this game when I use ham as the treats. We will play 10 rounds at a time before I put it away and he whines a little bit when I put it away. It’s pretty cute. And then get this…he sleeps for at least an HOUR afterwards! Totally just knocks him out and I love having a calm boxer in the house. The only complaint I have is that it’s too easy. This is the first puzzle toy I’ve ever bought and I was a little concerned a level 3 would be too difficult for my boxer’s first toy, but he had it easily figured out on the fourth try. The hard part of the game is that the sliders are locked by the pegs, but my dog goes for the pegs first anyway, so my dog never even has to figure out the difficult part because he goes for the pegs first. The pegs also come out way too easy. My dog barely noses him and they fall over. I wish he had to bite the pegs and lift them up to remove them. That’s quite a bit more difficult. He still loves this game, but it takes him less than a minute to empty out all of the treats. That’s not a very long amount before he’s bugging me to refill the game. I’m planning on spending the extra money to purchase a Nina Ottosson toy because I’ve read that they are much harder than Trixie games even if they are rated the same level. So all in all, it was a good purchase and my dog loves it; I just wish he didn’t empty it so soon.

this is a surprisingly good toy. It probably took my golden retriever about 3-5 minutes to figure out how it works, and once she did, she was at it. The directions advise you to monitor the play because these are not meant to stand up too heavy chewing. I use this in 15 minute spurts, which seems to be the perfect amount of time to keep her occupied. There are ways to make it more difficult, and now I am working on training her to only use her nose, or only paws, based on the command. I am also training her to put the toys back, and she is able to do about 3 of them. I was definitely surprised by how good the game was (you never really know) and she definitely enjoys playing this every day, sometimes more than once per day. My dog is pretty smart (trained service dog) and has a great attention span and enjoys training. This is probably more suited for medium to large dogs, and dogs who are able to pay attention for periods of time. The base is not terribly heavy. It they had weighted the bottom even a little more, it would be much improved

GAMBLING TOWER (LEVEL 1) – 4 STARSMy dogs love it but it is easy once they figure it out.So, I actually have 2, my chipoo Rylie uses it as is but for my havabol Indie (she is extremely smart) I take hot glue and run a line across the opening to make it harder to pull out. the only problem with that is I have to lightly step on the side when she is doing it so it does not tip over and it has to be redone every once and a while. But she still loves it so I’m ok with that. She loves her games but she also likes to have easier ones sometimes and this is that one she usually wants on those nights.I usually take the Pocket Treats and I break them into 1/4th’s so we can play longerCHESS GAME (LEVEL 3) – 2 STARSNot terrible if letâs say your dog only has two legs or is very slow. My dog literally had all the treats out in under 30 seconds the first time she played.I will say it is built well which is the only reason it got 2 stars, but in no way would I say itâs a level 3! We rate our games by our dogs harder ones are Indie, easy ones are Rylie. This is way below a Rylie level (EXTREMELY easy, and sheâs afraid of half of them)FLIP BOARD (LEVEL 2) – 2.5-3 STARSAgain very easy, should not be a level 2 more like a level 1 or 1/2. This on is definitely more of a Rylie level but now even she can do it in 1 seconds. Good thing is she is not afraid of this one so that’s a plus.MOVER TOY (LEVEL 3) – 2.5 STARSOnce again super easy and not a level 3, the only sort of hard part for either of my dogs to figure out is the one lever but they just lick inside the hole (where it slides) and get the treat out that way

Bought this for my dogâs Christmas present. He loves it and it takes him a good amount of time to work it out. Very easy to put together and durable. Really happy with my purchase.

I’m a convert to the Trixie Dog Activity series, with only one exception, and this is not it. Our too smart, easily bored girl gets her treats in these puzzles, and she really enjoys them — her mood is up for hours afterwards. She doesn’t always do the puzzle in the prescribed way — shaking them and kicking them are included in her techniques — but she always does a happy dance when she sees me get one out.The best thing for me is that the line is really sturdy and she can’t break them, no matter how hard she tries. We have them all, and rotate them with a different one daily, so she does not get into a routine. Highly recommended for the smart dog!
