Cleans Easily
What a great shedding tool. Most of the other types have a similar ejection method but the bristles still remain visible and still have fur on them as well as on your hands. This tool is amazing, push the button to release the bristles and push the button again and they disappear and the fur just slides off! I opened it right away and gave my medium hair cat the ‘brush off’ and she loves it! For the first time ever, she just laid down and relaxed and let me brush to my hearts content. Really does the job. The bristles feel firm to the human touch but the description says it will not harm the animal’s skin and it did not hurt my cat at all. Of course, you don’t want to apply heavy pressure on any animal. It’s easy to handle and my cats love it! I would highly recommend this brush for any cat or dog.

Gets the job done but is more pointy than expected
I have a Catahoula-lab mix that looks like a Rottweiler. His hair isn’t incredibly long in general but his butt and tail look german shepherd-esque. The brush works great on those areas and he doesn’t mind being brushed with this but if I go over delicate areas(like his belly) he tends to jump a little. I think the bristles are a bit too sharp for him in the shorter haired areas. Due to that, I just brush his neck, back, butt and tail.As for cleaning, it’s SUPER easy! Just a push of the button and a swipe into the trash can. I think this brush is geared more toward long haired dogs and I’m sure it would work wonders on them! If your dog is completely short-haired, I wouldn’t recommend it because I don’t think it would do much and might hurt the skin.

Long hair German shepherd and this is the only brush that actually worked! Undercoat was such a breeze to maintain and brushing sessions were so much more efficient not having to stop every 2 minutes to pick the hair out. Just press the button and continue. Highly recommend

Too sharp, not so tidy, and cumbersome
Like several other commenters have said, the bristles are quite sharp. My girlfriendâs dog (a medium-sized (40lb) mutt of some Aussie heritage) can tolerate it over bigger parts of his body, like his sides, but when I use this around, say, his legs and belly area he literally winces.So far as fur collection goes, the brush does get fur out, and the button mechanism is quite a clever way to clean it. However, it doesnât collect fur off the dog as well as Iâd hopedâwhen Iâm done brushing him, he has loose fur all over despite the rather large clump caught on the brush.Last, like others have also mentioned, the brush is cumbersome. Its size and shape are fine for the dogâs larger, broader surface areas, but to brush him over more rounded and narrow areas like his belly and underâarms?âit just doesnât do the job well.

Quite simply one of my favorite dog grooming devices yet!
We have two Carolina dogs, one has an obvious double coat and the other one has barely any. Our double coat fur baby gets bathed at the vets office about once a month, but they fail to brush her out afterwards. She would come home with tuffs of fur stuck in her coat, so sissy(thatâs me) to the rescue! ð¦¸ð»ââï¸After reading through numerous reviews I finally settled on this product and yâall it is a dream to use! We brush her about once a week and the amount of fur we get off of her is amazing! Whatâs even better? Pressing the button on the handle to release said fur! I only wish we had gotten this sooner. Our other dog isnât as impressed with it since his coat is thinner. I try to use it lightly on his rump, he doesnât seem to mind that so much.But for our girl it has improved her coat, she no longer has those bothersome tuffs hanging from her hindquarters, her fur is sleek and shiny, plus my mom is saving up the fur to have it added into yarn. Yes, that is a thing! This brush makes it incredibly easy to not only brush our puppers but it makes it stupid easy to collect the fur afterwards.Highly recommend!
