Neewa Sport dog gear
We exclusively use state-of-the-art materials and pride ourselves on our painstaking attention to details and quality control.
The Neewa products have been developed with input from dog trainers and athletes to ensure that it is both effective and comfortable for dogs. Our harnesses are designed to distribute the weight evenly across the dog’s body, making it easier for them to pull sleds, carts, or other objects. The soft padding helps to prevent chafing and rubbing, while the adjustable straps ensure a snug and secure fit.
How did we get our start?
We were dog owners ourselves and we were frustrated with the limited options available for gear that would support our dogs in our athletic pursuits.
We realized that by working with experienced dog trainers and athletes, we could create harnesses that would meet the needs of active dogs and humans
What makes our products unique?
Neewa is produced in our own factories in Italy for a much better control in quality then producing the products with third parties. Developing our products with trainers and mushers, gave us the right key for better gear

Fits 120# Alaskan Malamute
I’ve only tried this harness twice so far. Works great for skate-joring on a 46″ longboard. This is my first pulling harness, so it took a bit of figuring out how to get it on my (hyper-active, STRONG) Mal. Once on, adjustments were easy and it fits my blocky boy perfectly. The second use was GREAT! My dog was noticeably faster and ran at full gallop longer than usual – the way the harness applies pressure to the whole body (rather than just his shoulders) seems to make it easier on him overall. Our usual pulling session is just over a mile – he was able to pull the entire time (usually stops pulling a few blocks from home and I skate alongside), and seemed less fatigued a few hours later. My only issue is not with the harness, but with the dog: The attachment lanyard is at the rear, by the base of the tail, so it can be difficult to hold him back when he spots a certain dog that he has beef with. I was still able to control him by using the back strap. Again, this an issue with the dog, not the harness; but is something to be aware of if your dog is a big, alpha male.I’ll update this review in a few months to assess durability, but everything looks well made – materials, stitching and the attachment seem to be top-end.VERY happy – THANKS Neewa

Thoroughly adjustable; custom fits for both my active dogs
I had a non-adjustable Neewa harness for my first dog which fits her fine (but seemed a little big around her torso) so went ahead and bought two of these when I got my second dog. They both are about the same weight and similarly long-legged but one is 100% lab and the other is a lab/pointer mix so have slightly different physiques. These harnesses are completely adjustable – length as well as width at multiple places. They don’t chaff anywhere and are perfectly designed for pulling activities. Dogs love them!

Medium too big?
Overall I think this harness is a great starter one. I bought it to try the X style before possibly investing in a custom fit one.I have a husky/malamute mix, 75lbs, muscular build. I ordered the medium based on size guide. I have the neck adjusted as big as possible and it fits just barely. But then, the adjustable back straps are as tight /small as possible and are in my opinion too loose.Ultimately I think it looks like my dog is comfortable while pulling. Iâll continue to use it! Especially for its price, it is well made, comfortable and looks great.

So far so good
I have a husky mix and she always pulls. I wanted to get her a pulling harness to encourage her to pull on trails and climbing up mountains, without hurting her neck or making her cough. It helps me get up them easier and its fun for her to pull. Her measurements indicated the minimum for a large harness and luckily it was just fitting her with alot of slack. Everything is pulled to its tightest, but she is still growing. If she wasn’t still growing I’d have exchanged it for a small. I got a medium and pulled as tight as it can go. Shes a 60lb at the moment husky mix.

Fits small Great Dane
Our dog is about 120lbs and this fits him good. It is more for recreation than work. He handles it fine and there is good weight/force distribution on Him.

Work like a Dog
This harness is strong, tough, and well built. Allows my German Shepherd/Belgian Sheepdog, “The Black Mamba,” to pull hard while breathing easy. The harness straps ride on Mamba’s shoulders and cross under his chest, so no pressure on his windpipe. Easy to put on Mamba – just slip over his head, fit one front leg at a time into the harness, and away we go. No buckles or clips or snaps to deal with.If your German Shepherd is on the small size, I would recommend size Medium.

Bought this for my 120lbs Malamute and he loves this to this very day. Haven’t gotten him to pull anything so can’t really comment on durability but very sturdy nonetheless.

Large fits our 100lb Big Cookie perfectly (when heâs standing up). We bought this after looking through the reviews & wanting to go adjustable. It is very well made, goes on easy and adjusts easily too. Going to try getting him to pull a toboggan of firewood later, but I can tell from experimenting in the house with a box and a cat that the fit is good and my boy enjoys pulling a load.

My husband and I have gone through so many harnesses for our 74 lb Alaskan Husky Erza. We’ve had her on a KONG harness for the last 2 years, but noticed 2 weeks ago it was chaffing her underarm. I searched for hours yesterday for the perfect harness for our Erza and I came across Neewa. I was bouncing between the Sledpro Harness, Adjustable Sledpro Harness, the X Back Racing harness and the Adjustable X Back Racing Harness. After 5 hours of looking between them and Erza’s measurements 34in girth, 24in neck and 27in back and a large is perfect for her. As well very easy to put on and walk her on it. Erza is usually scared of putting her harness on and wants to end walks earlier, but today with Neewa’s Adjustable Sledpro Harness Erza enjoyed her walk in comfort in a snow storm in Ontario. I will update in the next couple of weeks to a month.
