Overall, It’s a good pet walker retractable leash.
It looks sturdy, but the rope material is a little too thin my do to chew on it quickly, it was fixable. I do like the stop n release, easy to handle my pup.

3 Years and Going Strong
We received this retractable leash as a gift and we may be real lucky but it has lasted over 3 years. We walk our male golden retriever almost daily, from puppy to 85 lb adult using this leash exclusively. I like that it has a sturdy belt that retracts smoothly. The handle is comfortable to hold, not bulky, and the switch is easy to maneuver. He has lunged a few times while attached to it and it has held up. Comparatively, we’ve bought two other brands of retractable leashes for a second large dog (1-year, 70 lbs) and they didn’t last very long. I will be purchasing another Power Walker leash and should’ve known that Amazon would carry it!Update 3/16/12 – Darn, the first Power Walker leash broke today while walking Toby the male retriever. He lunged, jamming the spring mechanism, and we took it apart but couldn’t repair it. It would have been 4 years old in May 2012. So sad, but I will be ordering a replacement PW leash. I still would give it 5 stars as we got a lot of use out of it. A second PW leash that was ordered in June 2011 (9 months old now) for our second dog Miki is still going strong, crossing my fingers…Update 4/15/14 – The second (June 2011) and third (March 2012) leashes are still in use! Got a fourth here at Amazon in size small June 2013 for a 12 lb dog and that one’s still doing good! We take all three walking every day and there is no sign of the leashes slowing down usage-wise, though the black grip is starting to peel off on the oldest one. Still happy with them!

My Second Buy for this leash
I like these – heavy construction – have dropped multiple times into concrete with no damage. Iâm a repeat customer. Did not give it a five because both of mine occasionally hang up at full extension. Had to take one apart to free it up, which wasnât easy. But comfortable to hold. Would buy again.

Very Well Made and Will Last a Long Time
I have tried a number of leashes, but this is the best. It is very well made with a sturdy mechanism, comfortable grip, and ribbon style leash. It doesn’t jam, and it will last for years. The only place that I encountered a problem in the past was if my dog suddenly ran off either behind me or at right angles to where the ribbon comes out. Jerking against the body like that can cause the ribbon to crimp a bit and jam. I have solve that simply by always carrying the leash in the hand opposite to the side where my dog is. That way, it runs across my body at an acceptable angle.

Perfect
This is our favorite leash. We have a doxie and she is pretty easy to walk. The leash doesnât tug, survived many drops and overall continues to work smoothly after more than 1 year. I only know because we just ordered another of this leash since we wanted one to leave in the car and this was our absolute favorite leash even after trying several other kinds. Well worth the buy!

Bought this retractable leash specifically because we had one before that we liked. But the cord on this leash is thinner than the previous one we had. And the cord on this one virtually cuts my hand when it retracts quickly. I have to wear gloves when I use it. I have discarded it and now use another type of leash.

I like these better than the Flexi leashes. I would give this 5 stars, but the clip is so small that it doesn’t clip onto my dogs step-in velcro harness with two loops. I have to use a carabiner.

I have a strong girl who doesn’t listen enough for off leash. This gives her the freedom to play with the safety of a lead. It’s strong, doesn’t get tangled up and the ribbon is thick. The handle is substantial and has rubber grips so winter use is not a problem. Highly recommend!
