This sound machine is crazy-easy to use and comes with a nice variety of soothing sounds to peruse. First, the on-off switch is big, protruding, and easy to use — just push it. Second, the different types of sounds are all listed on the top of the machine, each with its own label and button (other sound machines I’ve tried require pressing a single button over and over to get to its various sounds — not difficult, but not as easy to accomplish as with this machine). Third, it comes with a few sounds that are not included on other sound machines, like meditate and chimes. And finally, it doesn’t take up much space. Dislikes? Neither the on-off button nor the various sound buttons light up when the machine is on, and the it is a bit more on the expensive side. Still, I’d highly recommend.

Does the job
We grew accustomed to using a white noise machines with our kids. When they got their own rooms we realized we were spoiled and needed something. If youâre familiar with the original dohm fan, this is more like the electronic cousin. More modern. You can pick between spa noises, rain, waves, etc. Itâs not bad. It sounds a little digital, because it is. But, it helps me sleep. I would buy again.

I have used Marpac for over 25 years, always depend on it. This is an amazing replacement. To change sound, you hit a button on top, to change volume, you hit a button on top. To turn on/off, you hit a button the side. The design is well thought out so you don’t hit any button by accident in the middle of night. I was not expecting to like the “yoga” sounds as much as I do and of course the white noise sound is very real, not “tinny”. I bought a 2nd one to put in our common area to play background sounds. Very peaceful and relaxing.

UPDATE: While I was unhappy with the length of the cord as noted in original review, I really grew to love this noise machine. The sounds were nice with great clarity and volume. Because the cord was so short the machine was never moved or touched other than to turn on or off. No unplugging or moving at all I say WAS because within 2 months it died and would not turn on. Of course as typical out of return period. VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS. BUYER BEWAREI’m divided on how I feel about this little machine. On the positive there is a large number of sounds and they are loud and clear and loop is not noticeable. I was surprised with how compact it is and that actually is a good thing. What is not good at all is how short the cord is. It barely reaches from the wall outlet to the night stand. It has a micro plug and I don’t have any of those on hand, Also had to supply the plug which means unplugging the cord from my cellphone charger to use. If I want to turn it off or change sound the device is not within arm reach from bed. The sound level button is hard to locate and not clearly marked. Once it’s setup and if I don’t want to change sound or volume level it’s a nice little machine. Because I have come to like the meditation track I will keep this but wish the cord was longer and volume button was more user friendly. I can see that for a baby nursery or other location where access is not an issue that it would be great.

I was using this for myself and then got a puppy. He’s young so of course he has to play then he calms down and falls asleep. Love the selection of tones. I’m pleased with the product. You can adjust the time but I play it all night.

I do not usually leave reviews for my Amazon purchases however the Yogasleep sound machine has surpassed all expectations. I am a shift worker who purchased the sound machine a few years ago to help eliminate busy nieghbourhood daytime noises (especially in the summer). The sound machine controls are very simple to use and is very effective at producing various pleasing sounds to help eliminate background noise. I have used my Yogasleep sound machine for 3 years without any issues and would most definately recommend it to anyone having trouble sleeping due to background noises, especially shift workers.

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass es funktioniert, aber tatsächlich überdeckt es Geräusche die sonst störend für den Schlaf sind. Zuerst muss man sich etwas dran gewöhnen und die richtige Klangart (davon gibt es einige) und Lautstärke für sich herausfinden, aber dann ist es eine wunderbare Ein-und Durchschlafhilfe.Meine Kaufempfehlung hat das Gerät!

Lo consiglio per il costo e per le dimensioni, ma essendo abituato al marpac classic che è più basic ed ha meno funzioni di questo ho virato su quello. Il classic ha un solo suono con due tonalità di volume (più basso o più alto, non c’è l’ opzione per alzare o abbassare il volume e una volta inserita la spina parte direttamente al volume preimpostato (questo no, bisogna ogni volta regolare il volume desiderato e ho notato che se la corrente va via e ritorna poi bisogna accenderlo manualmente, il classic no). A differenza del classic non si scalda mai, rimane freddissimo anche dopo molte ore acceso e si può attivare l’ opzione spegnimento, inoltre si possono scegliere tonalità diverse e c’è l’ opzione per alzare o abbassare il volume.
