Mixed feelings
This carrier is easy to put together and pulled nicely through the airport. Itâs a good size too. The downside is that our Doxie puppy chewed right through the screen so we wonât be about to use it again. She wasnât left in it long so we arenât sure how it happened so easily. The extensions collapse too easily also.

Pretty Good Carrier
Just flew Southwest from NY to Chicago and back with this bag with my 10 lbs Maltese mix, albeit he stands 15 inches high. The good – it has a double padded floor, allowing you to use the 13.5″ height for carrier you pet when NOT on the plane and also a 9.5″ floor for when you need to tuck the carrier under the seat. Also, it has an extension the you can best use on the plane to increase your pet’s headroom, IF YOU SLIGHTLY PULL THE CARRIER FORWARD WHILE IT’S UNDER YOUR SEAT. Yes, this gives you less room for your feet, but it allows you to keep the carrier FULLY closed yet give your pet some comfort. BE SURE TO GET THE BLUE AND WHITE ONE, NOT THE BLACK ONE, which is a 1/2 inch smaller in width and height. The not-so-good – BUILD QUALITY is just OK, not as solid as some others. Sturdibag is prrobably the best bag for the money, but ONLY the XL and it’s being rejected by airlines as TOO BIG – bummer. Oh yeah, I was also able to slight the Pidipidi carrier on my carryon handle.

I really quite like this “19 x 13 x 9 TSA Approved pet Carrier for cat and Small Dog up to 12-15 lbs,Turn Down to Putted underseat for Southwest Allegiant and Other Airlines Have 9” or 9.5” Height Space” by pidipiti, because it isn’t only well-priced, but it is also very well-made. Not to mention this is also very versatile because I’m not only able to use this during vet visits for my “big kitten for life” aka “runt cat” but, also for my baby Sulcata Tortoise’s many trips. It provides my cat/tortoise plenty of space and lots of air with its surround mesh design and with the addition of extra space out front. This carrier keeps my cat/tortoise very comfortable in car rides. I especially love the sturdy and soft padded bottom insert/bottom shaper, as it doesn’t only keep the bag from being misshapen throughout the trip but, it also provides my cat/tortoise a comfortable space. I also like the hand and shoulder straps, which gives me options how I want to carry my cat/Tortoise as needed. Lastly, I quite like how quick and easy this is to assemble and disassemble. Other than that, this is easy to store, lightweight, solid and durable, and definitely worth the asking price.I absolutely recommend this to others.

Defective design – tether unusable
The tether is not adjustable and is attached to kennel underneath the 3-sided pad that is velcroed to the inside. It has ~3â available once pads are in place. There is no opening in the pad to pull it through. For the high cost, it also is folded oddly in the package so it does not sit correctly once assembled. It is a neat idea but needs some attention to detail. Made me question how well it would hold up when such practical details are overlooked.I also bought the Petskd kennel to compare the two. Both can fit under Delta seats. For about the same cost, much better craftsmanship with metal frame that doesnât collapse, locking zippers, expandable top and expandable side (the long side) that opens up squarely to give almost double the floor space. That side also has the padding built in for your pet to comfortably sprawl out when extended. Hope this helps.

I Got EXACTLY What I NEEDED
Owning a 30lb. Siberian cat is not exactly the easiest breed to travel with, which makes finding a carrier that much harder! Thankfully, pidipiti created this one that checks the following boxes:- Padding within the carrier used to create a comfortable habitat for your feline-friend is soft and even has Velcro built into it, allowing for easy attachment that stays put the first time.- Expandable walls create a bigger area within the carrier to allow more space for your cat to roam around in and not feel so enclosed.- Pricing is up there but keep in mind that this item is superior to others, due to: adjustable walls, soft interior walls/bottom, and an adjustable strap for convenient mobile transportation.This is hands-down the best cat/pet carrier I’ve used in quite a while because it was designed with pet owner’s and their animals in mind! If I could award more than 5-stars, I would!
