It definitely protects the bags but the top doesnât close as my bags are too tall. Itâs not universal. I didnât need it to close so itâs fine.

Too small, check dimensions
The containers are not tall enough to fit bags upright. Each container can accommodate 6-8 Medela bags if laid on their sides after they have been frozen flat. Have resorted to gallon size ziplock bags for additional storage.

Storage containers with hinged lids – nice quality
These are a nice quality container, back in my day, I used ice cube bins, the tall long white ones, lol. If these fit your bags (CHECK THE DIMENSIONS!), these are great. The lid will help keep other freezer odors from absorbing into your bags. Even if you have a dedicated freezer, this will help you manage space and keep them organized better. Iâm actually using them for other stuff, because itâs hard to find containers this shape – relatively long and narrow, but tall, and with lids.These donât have a recycle number on them, but they are that slightly bendable – clear but slightly milky plastic that is typically of many storage containers. It is not the brittle kind. They are very sturdy, and the lid has and indent down, such that they stack easily, and the one on top canât slide off. They only have a very very slight odor, not significant, what would be expected of a decent quality plastic.Tip: When freezing your milk, I would freeze them lying flat, then placing them in here. Or even better to maximize space, put this up on end while freezing bags so they freeze flat. If you do it in the container, they will kind of mold to the shape of the bag below, and really maximize space. Then you can put it the right way once itâs filled.

Sturdy!
Unfortunately, I didnât have any breast milk bags to store. However, I wanted to talk about the sturdiness and quality of these storage bins. Right now, I use them in my kitchen to store plastic cutlery. Theyâre easy to close, easy to clean, and are pretty sturdy. I recommend these for any of your storage needs!

Good containers, but a little small for breast milk bags
+ Sturdy plastic containers+ Stackable (with a tiny bit of wiggle room)- Both the width and height is too small for a perfect fit with my Motif breast milk bags. (I donât currently have any Lansinoh bags for comparison, but I feel like those would be similarly a little too big for these containers). You could definitely make it fit though by storing the bags diagonally and folding the top over – just make sure the bags arenât too filled!

Sturdy, Stackable, Perfect for Craft Room Storage Too
I picked up this set of two boxes to use for craft room storage. These boxes are made of thick plastic, so they’re quite sturdy. There are grooves molded into the lids and the bottoms of the boxes so that they stay stacked nicely.The lids are hinged and snap shut. The hinge is molded into the plastic, so won’t last forever, but these hinges are long and molded from the same thick plastic as the box, so they should last for years to come. Because the lids are hinged, they cannot be removed from the storage box.For the majority of purchasers getting these to store breast milk, it’s a nice advantage that you can repurpose these when you’re done storing milk.As a side note, these NEAMVCT Storage Towers for Breastmilk Storage are made in China.
