Craftsmanship and versatility
I recently added this aet of wooden bowls to our playroom, and they have quickly become a favorite! The craftsmanship is excellent, with smooth edges that are visually appealing and safe for little hands. These bowls are incredibly versatile: ⢠Sorting: My kids love sorting small objects like pom-poms, beads, or acorns into the bowls. Itâs a fun way to introduce color recognition and early math skills. ⢠Nesting and Stacking: The nesting feature helps with spatial awareness, while stacking challenges their fine motor skills and patience. ⢠Open-Ended Play: Beyond sorting and stacking, the bowls have been transformed into âcooking pots,â treasure holders, and even mini caves for small toys! The natural wood feel adds a sensory element, and theyâre sturdy enough to withstand years of play. Perfect for Montessori-inspired activities or any play-based learning setup. Highly recommend for toddlers and preschoolers alike!

Great for small hands
These are really nice and easy to use for small hands. Just be careful because they do break easily- watch out for small pieces coming off!

Difficult to take apart
The pieces arenât perfectly circular so they stick very easily. Too hard for a toddler to take a apart

I gave these to my 1 year old
The description says these are for 3-4 but I gave these to my 1 year old and he loves them. They make a cool noise when slammed together. They stack in different ways. The wood is a nice natural feel. They are a bit heavier than plastic stackers so I can see why the age limit is there. He loves to chew on them and I feel ok about it since its sturdy wood.

Extremely difficult to unstack
These are really cute, good quality wooden stacking cups. Almost everything about them is perfect. The wood is smooth and well finished. They stack up like a little cake and are fun to handle with a pleasant sound and feel to the wood. The thing that I do not like about them is how hard they are to pull apart when nested. When they first arrived, it took 20 minutes and a pair of pliers (wrapped in tape to protect the finish of the cups) to get them apart. It is easier now (does not require tools) that I’ve done it several times but it still requires the strength/dexterity of adult hands so I don’t see how this would be fun for a toddler if they push them together but can’t then pull them apart. I know babies/toddlers who have freakishly strong grips but my 6 year old cannot separate them on her own once fully nested so I do think this toy might be frustrating for many children if their set performs like this one. I’m using ours to sort and store small art supplies so it’s not an issue for us but something to be aware of if you’re ordering this for the intended purpose.

Solid wood stacking cups
This is a cute set of stackable cups made from acacia wood. I measured each individually, and they are true to the size in the listing. Each of the cups slide into the corresponding piece smoothly with no issues. The outside is oiled and smooth, however the inside (carved out part) is a little bit more rough and doesn’t seem to have been sanded and oiled to the same extent that the outside was. This is still a great set for toddlers and babies learning to stack. One nice thing is that the set can grow with your little and become bowls for pretend play.

Nice little nesting bowls
These nesting bowls are quite nice. The wood is acacia, has beautiful grain, and is smoothly finished. You can tell each bowl is made from a single piece of wood bored out in the middle. There is slight variation in the circumference, so a couple of the bowls got stuck together in shipment. We’ll actually be using them for salt and spices in the kitchen, as a classy little mise en place, so I’m not worried about that.

Simple but soothing
Just about everyone in our house needs something to ground them from time to time, and a few of us struggle with sensory overload. I’ve been looking for some kind of fidget or sensory item that doesn’t look out of place on our coffee table, and these wooden stacking cups do that perfectly. They are a bit tight to stack/unstack at first, but after a few solid days of use they have worn down just enough to not stick so much. They are well made and super handy!
