Doggie seat belt secures dog
We drive a CRV and our dog insists upon sitting ON the back seat. She was missing out on car rides because I couldn’t properly secure her. This doggie seat belt works well. I put her in a harness and attached the doggie seat belt to the harness, then clipped the seat belt to the headrest. I’d have preferred to use the seatbelt clip, but that was blocked by the hammock (to keep fur off the seats). Since she’s only 30#, I wasn’t concerned about the headrest holding her.One major bonus: once we got to our destination and I opened the back door, she was restrained until I released her, so no risk of her jumping out and running off.

Versatile
Using a seat belt is very important for the safety of your pet in the car. This dog seat belt can be either latched into the seatbelt or looped over the headrest. The part that hooks onto your dogâs harness has a little bit of stretch to it to allow for some movement around the back seat for your dog. Itâs easy to install and to hook onto your dogâs harness. You can purchase special seat belt harnesses but we just use the same one we use for walking our dog. This comes as a set so if you have two cars youâll be able to leave one in each.

From car to trail easily
I received this free through Vine. I was surprised how large the clip was, but otherwise these leashes are rather lightweight. Conveniently, you can buckle your dog in or strap it around the headrest. The latter option is particularly helpful when you have more than three dogs to secure or are using your seat belts for other purposes. I snapped both the Orange and black leashes together, hooked my dogs and walked them as if it were one leash. This would make a good option as a travel leash as you can go from the car to your walk without switching leashes. You can adjust both the headrest part and the length for the right fit and there is a smidge of bungee for extra length. It would have been nice for them to include an attached velcro strip to secure the seat belt buckle when not in use.

perfect for traveling
I was looking for a car leash for my dog that she wouldn’t step on to unbuckle, which is what my dog was fairly good at. The leashes are super easy to wrap around the back of the seat. They have a bit of elastic in the leash part allowing a bit of movement and give.

Strong and long enough for my dogs
I got these for when I need to bring my dogs some where in the back. This has helped them be a bit more secure and the big thing for me, actually stay in the back. No issues getting this hooked up either around the headrest or the latches in the back of my car. Adjustable enough though they are not going to be running around with this on. Happy with these.
