Cat took (sort of) to this right away!
I LOVE this lightweight and attractive harness. I especially love that it doesn’t pull at the neck and that the buckles hold tight but that they are lightweight and fasten and unfasten so easily. Graycie is 13 lbs. and I believe I purchased the small size for her, which has worked out really well. She is medium-haired, so I do place my fingers under the buckles as I fasten the harness. There was a tiny bit of grumbling (and honestly there quite often still is!), but my 7 yo cat must’ve remembered way back when she was about 7 mo. old when I first tried out harnesses on her. She loved getting outside but didn’t love the harnesses and was able to get out of the 2 or 3 or so that I’d tried at that time. So, she stayed indoors. I have a decent-sized home with LOTS of windows, so at least she wasn’t cooped up, per se, but she made it clear she would like to be outside. I took her out in the gazebo with screening, put her in a pen in there, etc., and she was ok with that, but then life happened, a wasp situation happened (next-door neighbor with HUGE nest under a shed), and the gazebo then didn’t happen for the past couple years. Fast forward to a new neighbor taking care of the wasp next, then my purchasing a catio, which will be in regular use next year after I tweak it a bit,. But in the meantime, she was crying so much at the front door after some rounds out in the catio that I thought, let me give a harness another try. And voila, it worked! So, whenever the weather’s with us this late fall and into the winter, I’ve gotten her out nearly every day. It’s been really nice, kind of meditative, really, walking her around the grounds. So I breathe in some fresh air, she gets some extra stimulation, and everybody’s happy. She still grumbles a little bit when I put the harness on her, but no flopping on the ground, no scratching, no biting, and the desire to be outside overrides her desire not to be in a harness. So, yay! Very glad I gave this a try. Quality material, very lightweight but very strong, attractive patterns to choose from, and the price was right. Would purchase again.

Takes time adjusting but great tool!
At first my cat didnt want anything to do with this but over time and small sessions of him having it on indoors he finally adjusted i havent use it to go outside quite yet but when hes ready i think this will work just fine. I like how it doesnt put too much pressure around the neck and front legs. I will warn you to make sure you get the right size bc if it is even slightly loose they WILL get out of it. I got the medium one for my 15lbs cat hes half american short hair, half Maine coon and it fits him well. I tried the smallest setting on my 7lb cat and it was too big.

Large clasps for cat.
It is very pretty and the material is nice and soft and i like the adjustable ability between the neck and shoulders but the clasps are very large for my cat. Would probably be perfect for a small dog, the clasp on the collar part looks very uncomfortable, at the neck.

Timothy is our escape artist. He met his match with this harness. This is the first harness and leash that stays on him. Nice colors, very strong material.
