Works like a seat belt
I didn’t expect this the safety mechanism on this harness to work so well. When my mini schnauzer tries to sprint away, it triggers the stop function. He’s a lunger, so this is perfect to train him. However, it is very, very sensitive. At least, this one I got is. I paired it with a bungee extension; that extra give seems to balance the safety mechanism nicely.

Locked too fast
The leash doesn’t pull out smoothly. It locks too quickly. You get what you pay for

good size, sturdy, fast retraction but no ring on harness and locks too fast when extending leash
More than others this one locks very quickly so you have to go super super slow to pull the leash out. There is no ring on the harness so I can’t lock her in to her seatbelt. All others have it, it’s weird that this one doesn’t.*Good size for small dogs, the leash and handle on it are very durable and strong and it retracts very fast the way a good measuring tape does. If I let go it spins so fast that my dog is kinda stunned like what just happened because it is right on top of her back.

Heavy for little dog and short leash
The product is good, but the leash is short and the mechanism is kinda heavy… too heavy for my little dog. I love the idea, just not good for my dog.

There really isnât a break
I am not a fan of retractable leashes in general. I ordered this to use for my little dog while we are sitting outside so he can roam a little bit and not get tangled. I donât like that there is no break option since the leash is attached to the harness. However, if the dog pulls suddenly there is an auto-lock feature that prevents them from going any further, but if your dog just slowly gets to the end there isnât a way to pull them back.

Fits fine, weird leash
The fit of it is fine, comfortable for my pup. But the leash extender gets jammed really easily. Instead of it pulling out and retracting smoothly as your pup walks, it barely comes out at all and gets jammed really easily. You have to move it slowly as possible or it will jam it. Gets the job done and it comfortable just do not like the âretractableâ leash
