Great carrier!
We got this for my 18 pound sheltie so we could take her to more crowded events where she’s nervous on the ground. I was SURE she would hate it and flail around inside but she could not be more chill about it.This bag is super simple to use. The biggest struggle is setting her inside with her feet tucked under her but we’re getting better at it. I love that the inside flap under the zipper is so large. I don’t get any of her long fur caught while zipping her in. I also like the the ability to clip her harness for additional security. The padding makes it nice and comfortable for the human.It takes a little adjusting so she can sit higher up, but again, we’re getting the hang of it. It doesn’t help that instead of wanting to look over dad’s shoulders – she decides to just sit back and hang her head to look behind and to the side lolI also love the velcro on both the bag and the detachable bag for name or message (customized patches available on company website – I got a do not touch patch for now – but she did so great I’ll just buy one with her name next)The detachable bag is big enough to put her leash in, a bottle of water, snacks and a few more items, as long as you can handle the additional weight.I would advise practicing with all the clips if you get the detachable bag. We did not and made a mess of things trying to do it while out lol It’s super simple though if you take the time to sort it out first.We took her to the farmers market for her first outing on a warmish low 80’s day, for about an hour, and she didn’t seem to get too warm in there.I’m super happy with this purchase and will take it with me whenever we go out just to have on hand when needed. I’m planning on getting another for my second sheltie. He doesn’t need it like she does but I find it super useful in situations where it’s safer to be off the ground so they can still come with us. .

This review is for the K9 Sport Sack | Dog Carrier Adjustable Backpack (Large, Plus 2 – Light Grey)My pup is a 4 year Glen of Imaal/Parson Russel Terrier Mix. He weighs about 30 pounds which is large for a Terrier because of his Glen of Imaal Pedigree. Overall with the exception of the way the chest strap is attached, the quality is great. There are a couple things I would suggest to improve in the design. One is as you can see in the picture above, the strap to secure the back pack to your chest is not attached well enough to stay on. Once it comes off it is too difficult to get back on. It came off the first time I used the backpack when I tightened the strap. It really does not affect the way the backpack works or fits much at all though. Another thing that did not really fit my dog was the clip on the inside of the backpack that clips onto the dogs collar. In my case is was too restrictive for my dog. His neck seems to be too long for the distance between the clip and the collar. He could not really get his head fully extended which was uncomfortable for him. It can easily enough be remedied by extending the distance by linking another clip though. He did not need a booster pad to sit higher. It fits him nicely and he seems comfortable in it. So far I have used it about 6 times since I received it about 3 weeks ago.

Itâs pretty good but could be better
Pros:The bag is pretty good. Seems sturdy and fits our dog well. She loves to go for rides in it. It was challenging to get her in the first time, but now she just sits down and lets me zip her in. My cat even lets me put him it and let me take him on a walk.Cons:At 22lbs she is pretty heavy on the shoulders so I wish the straps were a little wider and more cushioned. It would also be nice if there was an hip strap to help support some of her weight. Also the carabiner that secures her collar broke on the 2nd use which was disappointing.Overall happy with it. And will continue to use it. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would but I donât feel it deserves 5 so 4 it is.

Great purchase for my pup!
Was not sure what my dog would think of being carried around in this bag but she loves in! There is definitely a learning curve for her to get in and be comfortable, but overall with a little training, I highly recommend!The bag is lightweight, feels very durable, sizing chart was accurate, and worth every penny to have my pup ride along with us!Thereâs even an Etsy shop to custom make a Velcro patch to put on the carrier backpack.Donât hesitate to purchase this bag!

Iâm a plus size female and worried it wouldnât fit both of us. Very happy it fit us both. Very comfortable for us both. Security features are inside safety loops to keep your dog in bag. Safety on zipper so it canât come down and the 3 straps. I felt safe he was going to stay put. We had a ride on bike today and he really enjoyed it so did I.Heâs 7 lbs I ordered small based on many of the reviews. His body is abit longer. This was 2 nd I ordered and the difference in quality is no comparison. Extremely happy with this product. I should add it has air vents and he wasnât overheating.Very impressed.
