Fantastic Product
My dogs seem to mind this much less than the traditional sand paper grinding bits. I love that it mounts directly onto the shaft of the dremel. Very easy to install on my Dremel Micro 8050 (works best on speed 4 or 5 for this bit) . Does a great job on the nails, doesn’t seem to catch hair, and doesn’t get hot. This shape is perfect for a larger dog, especially if you grind the alternative cut shape taking nail off the front, bottom, top, and sides. For a smaller dog or a dog with little nails closer to the toe pads get the “bulldog” version.

Very good budget friendly item for professional groomers or pet parents who do nails at home. Grinder works well. cleaning nail dust/ debris after every few dogs helps with time spent on each nail. The metal does heat up if using it on multiple dogs back to back in a professional salon setting.

I was searching for a diamond head nail grinder to fit my dremel – Iâd purchased smaller ones on here but knew I needed something with more force, if you will. A better grit and larger surface. This one does the job! Great find!!

Excellent build quality, excellebt customer service but doesn’t cut well for me and heats up
I purchased this nail grinding head for a number of reasons: cost, attachment design, diamond grit, and shape. With regard to cost — it is in my opinion very cost effective. The manner in which it attaches to the tool is superior to standard bits that must go through a collar that you must then tighten-down. With this you don’t get fur wrapping around the bit making it superior on longer haired dogs like doodles. This bit also has the shape I wanted. The shape makes it easier to grind the nail. My only complaint is that mine doesn’t seem to grind well — like it’s sort of dull or something. I have to bear down on the nail which heats things up and my dog doesn’t like that. Other reviewers don’t seem to have this problem so it’s somewhat of a mystery to me. I missed the Amazon return window by 5 days but the seller reached out to me and provided excellent customer service. Similar bits from leading vendors are a LOT more expensive and I may have to pursue that, but for the cost and build quality of this bit, it’s worth trying it out for yourself.

Works on my GSD
I had been using my barrel sander attachment on my Dremel, but it heated up pretty quickly. This bit stays cool even when I’m trimming several weeks of growth. Cuts quickly and leaves a nice finished surface. Very satisfied.
