I rated the Cat Steam Brush four stars. While the brush is well-made and of good quality, unfortunately, neither my cat nor my sister’s cat took to it. As a result, Iâve decided to add it to the pile of items my cat doesnât enjoy. Overall, it may work well for other pets, but it didnât meet our expectations.

Cats AND dogs!

Cute Design, Very Practical
I’ve never used a steam brush before and was curious if it would work. I like how cute the brush looks, and it’s easy to hold, too. My partner’s cat likes to play with everything and I guess she thinks it’s a toy like everything else in her crazy little world but she does like how it feels when being brushed. She’s iffy about the steam, but I think it does help. And the button to push the fur down to remove it easier from the bristles really does work, which is helpful.

It doesn’t hold much pet hair and the bristles are very hard to line up with the holes for them. The bristles bend backwards when trying to line them up.

My Pets Love This Steam Brush
I have 3 tuxedo cats and one Golden Lab so we are always brushing an animal it seems. The more I brush them the less they shed on the carpets and furniture. Two out of the three cats and our dog loved this brush. The only cat who didn’t take to it is scared of her own shadow so I was expecting that. This brush is lightweight and easy to grip and control. The steam was more plentiful than I thought it would be and came out as a gentle, silent mist. The mist made their coats sleek and shiny. They all loved the feel of the bristles. To get the hair out of the brush you just push a button and it all comes off in one piece. I think this brush is better than our usual brush. The steam helps get out small tangles and slightly matted fur much easier. Five stars!

Great Brush but it’s not steam
To me the product description is very misleading. This does not produce steam, this is mist. I do really like this little brush. It sits in my had very comfortably and the “bristles” are soft rubber so they also massage the skin not like some of the more harsh brushes.I don’t think the UV light really does much to sanitize anything. I wouldn’t turn on the mist until after I started brushing because the water will alarm. Nor would I have the mist on when I am anywhere near the face.I shook the brush several times and it did not leak.Bonus is that if it’s a hot day you can always use this for a face mister.
