Best buy in a long time! Why did I wait so long!
I bought this dual dog leash several months ago because I needed to walk three dogs, 2 60+ pound dogs with a smaller dog. It works as promised! I only had problems with lines getting tangled if the 3rd smaller dog got underneath or too close to the big dogs when sniffing. The smaller dog leash would get tangled. So much easier to walk the 2 dogs together! Wearing harnesses helps also prevent tangles also. The dogs are connected so it prevents them from wandering too far. The swival in the middle is awesome in preventing tangles and the dogs can move freely to sniff and do their business but they can’t dally, they get pulled along! 🙂 I feel safe when they pull, very strong and sturdy material. Best purchase in a long time!

Love but takes time to get used to
One lead is longer, that was unexpected but helps with tangles and keeping dogs from pulling. Heavier than expected. The claps is large and a little heavy for small dogs but easy to use. Line the locking control to limit distance. Dogs are startled when it retracts (noise) it doesnât pull

Would not reccomend if you have “pullers”
Leash worked fine, I enjoyed being able to walk both my dogs with one hand instead of 2. Would not reccomend if your dogs are pullers. Mine are definitely pullers. They each want to go their own way when walking. Couldn’t do that with this leash lol. One is pulling the other this way. Ones trying to go potty, and the others pulling on the leash.

This thing is the worst the dogs wrap around each other and trip each other. When bought it I thought how wonderful I don’t need two leashes and them about to rip my arms off because one wants to go one way and the other a different way. But now instead of that they are wrapping around each other and peeing on each other! Gross! Now I have to come in and wash the pee off of them. Made my walking them together more work for myself.. my work good for little dogs but not big dogs.

Not good at controlling two dogs at once
Originally, I had bought a two-dog leash where each leash was controllable and retractable on its own. It turned out to be a scam so I bought this leash based on all the positive reviews. I’m honestly not sure why the reviews are so positive. The base of the leash is retractable, which is good… but then when the leash splits off into two, it’s just a basic, flimsy leash (if that makes sense). My dogs are not far apart in weight… one is 10 pounds and the other is 20 pounds, but the entire time they were dragging each other around the entire time and getting tangled within each other. The two leashes need to be completely retractable or the design will just not work.

Bought this lead as I now have two dogs. I have found the ring where the lead separates into two leads is very heavy and can stop the lead retracting and even may fall on the ground to the weight of this piece. I do like it but need to lift it up every now and again. Not as good as I had hoped.
