Great book with puns
I bought this book and another dinosaur book for my son’s first Valentine’s Day, and this is such a a cute book. It has beautiful illustrations too, and I love that it’s a board book. And it names the type of dinosaur that is pictured in the corner for kids that are interested in dinos.

Feels awkward to read…
PROS: Amazing illustrations, sturdy bookCONS: Rhymes seem to fall a bit shortWe purchased this book for my 2-year old because he absolutely LOVES “I Love You Like No Otter” (it’s one of his favorite books of all time). If that book was an A+, I would say this one is a B+. It’s a sturdy book with thick pages, stunning illustrations, and a bonus pronunciation guide for the dinosaurs featured on each page. However, some of the rhymes feel awkward and kind of fall flat (at least reading out loud). I see what they’re going for, trying to combine the names of the dinosaurs into rhymes and puns, but it just doesn’t hit sometimes. “You’re the TRICERA-tops!” hits perfectly. “I-wanna-GUANODON you kisses” does not. However, if you just want to look at the pictures, it’s a beautiful, nice book
