I purchased two of these to use in my car while driving 15+ hours with two cats. They worked great and none of the food or water spilled out of them. They hold food/water so well that when I went to pour them out it took a while to empty (not a bad thing). I would definitely recommend these for travel purposes.

Really good travel bowl.
Itâs not 100% spill-proof because my dog still manages to dump it in the car, but itâs an improvement from standard bowls. If itâs full, I spill it every time I pick it up because itâs flexible material. Highly satisfied with the amount of water it holds, and my (picky) dog has no issues drinking from it. Seems to be a durable material and (mostly) functions as designed.

TRAVEL GAME CHANGER FOR PETS
This is an amazing product and truly does not spill. Just make sure you donât fill it too full, which I did at first, but then realized I needed to take a little more water out of it ! I literally drove to Florida with my cat in the back and water never spilled the entire trip. Very helpful was the customer who posted the review video of her shaking the bowl around and it not spilling

I brought this for a month long road trip for my puppy and it worked very well! My pup is obsessed with water (hence her holding onto in this photo as if she were holding on to a comfort toy or baby blanket :)). I used it in the car whilst driving so there were many jostles, bumps, and jolts getting to campsites, etc. With a microfiber towel or other absorbent cloth beneath it (or a tarp when appropriate), it did just what I wanted and my puppy, though missing her large bowl full of filled ice water (literally something she prefers even over training treats!), didnât fuss about it at all.I used it for her food, also, and that was a huge win while the car was moving, though sheâd get a bit annoyed if the food was only in the corners and harder to get. Itâs possible I have a spoiled puppy.Background on trial and error:We also tried the âspill proofâ bowl with a floating center piece and not only did that not work but it also got moldy within less than a week of use. This silicone one, however, has NOT gotten moldy or even close. That other one had rave reviews but I truly wonder if some people also have mold in their bowl but never spotted it. I wouldnât have had my pup not been such a water snob and thus I had to investigate why she wasnât drinking her water like usual.Background on extended use of this one:My pup drinks/sips a ton and likes to create swimming pools around her bowl. So, even this one did spill, though Iâm sure putting a paw inside is much to blame haha â¦.But, even with normal drinking, it spills perhaps only 20% of what the other no-spill bowl did and like 1-5% of a normal bowl depending on where and how full it is. Also, sometimes debris and stuff gets in it which does take slightly more effort to remove than a normal bowl without the extra bends, but even on the road trip it was never a huge deal nor more frustration than worth it. I just checked it out once a day to make sure there isnât any sand or partially chewed treats hanging out under the lip.We used a second one for her food, both canned and dry food, and itâs as fantastic for the dry food. I didnât âloveâ it for the wet food because that got trapped under the lip more which both frustrated my pup and was far harder to clean at campsites (Iâm sure no big deal with a normal running sink). The canned food she eats is similar in texture to corned beef hash. I bet a more liquid stew-type canned food would be easier. Ultimately I just started giving her the canned food on a paper towel next to the bowl and that was totally fine.

Works just don’t fill to top
I plan on going on a road trip with my dog in the summer. He can easily drink a 12oz bottle of water in one go when hot so I purchased the larger bowl.Within 20 mins of a car ride to test it he was already drinking from it! When I first put it in the back seat I pointed at it and said “water.” He knows that command and hasn’t sat or stood on the bowl. That said it did splash a little either from him bumping it or just drinking from it sloppy. I have a waterproof seat liner and recommend that or maybe a puppy pad under just to catch any small spills.It does have a slight smell brand new that needs to off gas. (Not sure about the quality of the silicone but it works as a bowl)I haven’t washed it yet besides day one but I think I will just use a foam tipped cleaning brush from the dollar store. The foam will easily conform to inside the lip. I’m thinking it should be pretty easy.Definitely recommend it although I wish it was tilted to match my back seats angle. My light SUV doesn’t have perfectly flat seats so the bowl is always leaning a bit back raising the water level to the back.I’m confident with a gallon water jug and this bowl my dog will be well hydrated to start the trip.

The dish helps prevent the numerous spills that were happening due to my kitties ripping around like maniacs and bumping up against their previous water dish. When it arrived, there was some off gassing, so I let it air out for a few days and then gave it a really good scrub or two. The smell is completely gone. The one VERY IMPORTANT thing is that you MUST wash the bowl daily with soap and water, and remember to do the upper rim as well. The reason for this is the material is porous and tends to build up an unpleasant residue on the surface, which could be a health concern if not kept on top of. I originally bought this dish for flying my kitties in a hard sided carrier â to prevent spills during the flight. Iâm confident it will do the trick!
