LOVE this steamer!!!
The best thing I’ve bought in a while! Steamed broccoli in it the night it arrive. Cooked perfectly. Love that I am able to remove the lid & pull the dish out by the tabs without mitts, that it cleans up easily, and that it collapses to store. Great product!!!!

A wonderful alternative to the bags you can no longer find
I got hooked on the Ziploc Zip-n-steam bags for cooking fresh and frozen vegetables. But now they seem to have disappeared from the market, so I started looking for an alternative. All the other “steamer” bags are incredibly cheap and poor quality. Then I came across this, and – WOW. It WORKS. It’s absolutely perfect for steaming fresh or frozen vegies.The small size works well for two people. I can fix enough fresh or frozen vegies for dinner in about 5-6 minutes, depending on type.I got the large size as well because I wanted an alternative to cooking up chicken for chicken salad in the crock pot (4 hours!). Just tested that today, and it seems to work fine. It took about 15 minutes to do the job, and the chicken is cooked more evenly throughout than in the crock-pot. (For large amounts I’d still use the crock-pot.) One thing on this model – it really IS too large for many microwaves. But there’s a simple solution – just cut off the outermost tip of each handle. You’ll still have plenty of handle left to hold the steamer, but it will no longer bump into the sides of the microwave as it rotates.Regarding cleaning, my understanding is that you CAN put this in the dishwasher, but I’ve just been rinsing it out with a soapy sponge – it clean up very fast and easily.As an extra plus, besides no longer having to worry what to do when my supply of steamer bags runs out, this is one more way to reduce my plastic waste and help the environment.

It wobbles and is hard to hold when hot
I wish the bowl on this item was a hard plastic because it is soft when open and when it has hot food in it it is hard to hold because of the wobbly feeling. It is the right size I was looking for, color is ok and is easy to clean.

This works amazing, cooks everything in minutes. I like steaming vegetables a minute or two before throwing them in the air fryer to make it faster and make sure they are cooked inside. Saves time and the vegetables get the perfect texture. For just steaming its great too! I love it and use it so much since I got it.Only issue is that the material shows marks even after washing, i have to use a brush to scrub it well, i don’t think is dirty, just shows water marks and so, not ideal.

Some people said it was flimsy to use and dangerous I don’t know what these people are doing with it if you just use playing common sense the water put in the tray cover it and put it in your microwave simple I got the large size and it fits my microwave beautifully over the stove so I and just would ignore the bad reviews just purchased this great steamer

I ordered the small steamer & it’s the perfect size for my needs. It’s just the 2 of us but it could easily hold a bit more if needed. (It’ll hold a small 1.5 lb bag of baby potatoes) I thought it was a bit pricey when I saw it but was worth it as I use it all the time. I love steaming baby potatoes, any sort of veggies really. They cook fast & makes weeknight meal prep so much quicker. I just toss with herbs, spices & olive oil or butter afterwards..yum!! I put barely a tbsp of water in the bottom & just leave the lid a bit “ajar” & it works great to let a bit of steam out. Seriously love this thing!
