Way too heavy duty and not easy to attach to the dog’s harness
My minipoo has some habits regarding the car that make this too hard to use. He is too impatient for attaching and removing the carabiner, which has to be threaded and unthreaded. I think a spring clip would be better, easier and faster. He’s halfway out the car and I’m unthreading the clip.I can’t imagine a force that would move the spring, it is so heavy duty.

Didn’t use for intended use, but would work well for that.
I needed a tie down so that I would be able to brush the fur from my corgis. They hate that and act like I’m trying to kill them. This worked very well as their tiedown with the carabiner on both sides. One note about is they seem to be zinc plated not stainless steel which inside car should be perfectly fine but outside where I was using it will pr, it does have a clip to clip it into seatbelt receptacle, which is great but not useful for me other than that great tie!

very high quality, great for large dogs
Versatile, high-quality seat belt that works great for even large dogs. The price is also much cheaper than other competitors, especially what I can find in local stores. The cable and metal spring are nice quality, and the carabiners are also very strong and have barrel screws to keep them from accidentally coming off. It also has a seat belt attachment (and the carabiners can be removed). The leash is a little on the shorter side (true to size), so you might need a longer one if you want your dog to have some roaming room. The metal spring is really hefty, and do add significant weight. It’s definitely overkill for my small/medium sized dog (25 pounds), but works great for larger dogs.

This harness keeps my dog in place and still has enough cable length to allow my dog to move around in the back of my vehicle there’s nothing more to say about this product.

Would work better for larger dogs
I think the heavy duty spring is too much for small dogs, but would work for larger dogs. I am also a little concerned about the location of the spring if hooked to your dogâs collar. I would suggest having your dog in a harness and attach it to the harness so that it would be more in the area of the shoulders. Other than that it works great at keeping your dog securely in place with a little bit of leeway, so that they can lay down comfortably and move around a little bit.

Wow, heavy duty
This is a very heavy duty clip in. We use it by buckling it into the seatbelt. I got the longer one, which is actually a little longer than I needed even for my 100lb dog and gives him more leeway than he should have. It holds him nicely though. My concern is with the spring part. It is very heavy and thick, which might be too much for smaller dogs. Also, in the event of a crash I am concerned that the snap back of the spring could cause neck and head damage to my dog. Otherwise, it is made very well.
