Not sure the longevity of this
My cat loves this but does get bored with it after too long.This thing DEVOURS battery life so usb plug in might be the way to go. It does seem as if the laser is dimming despite changing the batteries. I would say I wish there was a way to be more selective on the intervals of play and time between play but for the price it’d still say it’s worth considering. When we first got out kitten we used it a lot but as he has aged he is less interested in playing with it for longer than a few minutes at a time (I suppose his attention span is just atrocious lol) and the 2 hour intervals is just not that great so we dont usually waist the batteries and use it so im taking a few stars away just because we dont really deem this as a necessity in the house, he’s more interested when he man the pointer for more variety in pattern and distance.

Not so bad, Cat light.
The cat light is not bad. But they need improvement. Because I looked at the manual. And I tried every which way but loose to. Figure out. How to work the? I couldn’t find out. I played it with my cat. But. Wouldn’t stay on for a long time. But then I left it on. Would come on and my cat would love to play with the light. But then the light goes out. Once in a while. To decide. The buyer. Needs to decide. Not a bad product. I give it three stars.

Junk, quit working after couple weeks
What a disappointment! Cats luved it, but the little one tenny-bits got 2excited & knocked it over….laser got misplaced inside & wouldn’t project outward. Can’t fix, don’t recommend

It worked well for the first 2 days. It got knocked over from a 2 foot tall table and now laser wont work anymore. Waste of money
