My son loves the sensory pictures! The art is fun and colors captivates his attention. Itâs a short story kind of book but I think we like it more for the pictures and textures. Will definitely be getting more books from its series!

Fun book for baby
My 6 month old loves this touch and feel book. She likes the different rubber textures as opposed to books that have soft, furry, or scratchy touch and feel surfaces. Each page spread has a cute semi rhyme for an animal and a rubber texture.

Cute Rhyming Story
Started reading to baby at 3 months and this was one of the first books. Baby loves the large illustrations and loves to use her feet to feel the different textures. There are several books in this series with this one being the favorite and the Dinosaur being a close runner up. Also purchased “Never Touch a Shark” and “Never Touch a Dinosaur”.

Toddlers love! Font type could be better
There is a whole series of these âNever Touch Aâ books, and my toddler adores them! These books are suitable for babies 0+ but your small toddlers are going to go whacky over these. I donât think I first introduced this book until my son was about 14 months old, now heâs almost 19 months and he brings me one of these books several times a day. We now have Never Touch a Porcupine, Monster, Grumpy Bat, Panda, Dinosaur, and Dragon, because I was tired of reading the same book all day long. Each page has a rubberized textured part of the animal for the child to feel and explore. My toddler loves flipping through the pages before I can even finish reading them. When I DO get to read the entire page, my only complaint is that the type font changes too much. Itâs big bold colorful stylized fonts mixed with small narrow cursive every few words, which looks very cute and communicates emphasis, but it makes the book a bit difficult to read when holding it at different angles for the toddler to see, especially if youâre reading it upside down. By this point, I have most of the pages memorized anyway, but my other concern is that as my toddler gets older and is learning to read, heâll unfortunately have difficulty learning to read along to his favorite Never Touch A books, because quite a lot of the words are in cursive, and itâs the same for every book in this series. I think the books could achieve the same visual effect with a block type font that would be easier for everyone to read. Other than that, I still will continue to buy these types of books. The board books are pretty durable and hold up to lots of abuse. Porcupine is the one weâve had the longest and is in the worst shape by far. Iâve just reinforced the spine and some of the pages with packing tape and it is still perfectly usable. I bought another copy as a gift for a friendâs baby shower and she loved it.

Cute book, my baby (6m old) really likes it, touches it unlike other books with textures… I also liked the silly and funny text inside the book that rhymes! It’s worth the money, good to have as touch&feel book option for your baby, since it’s different from fluffy books.

It was used for part of my grandsons little library. It is sturdy, beautifully illustrated with easy to learn rhymes. The touch panels are exceptional and encourage fine motor skills. I would say the whole range, which we now have, are a must for little ones.
