Works very, very well
Dog paw balms are ointments that can be used for alleviating winter dryness and cracking on a dogâs paw pads. Like people, many dogs get dry skin in winter. This product can be helpful to use in the cold months of the year to protect your dogâs paw pads from snow, ice, and ice-melting products. It can soothe your dog’s paws in the summer too when your dog has walked on hot pavement.This paw balm comes in a tin. I try to avoid plastic, so this tin is a big plus for me. The balm itself absorbs quickly and dries quickly. Your dog will NOT try to lick it off. It is non-greasy so it won’t get on your floors or carpet. There is no odor. It can be used safely on many other parts of your dog’s anatomy.My dog was licking his paw, which looked pink and sore. After I applied this paw balm for a few days, his paw healed.It is a little hard to get out of the tin; you need to soften it first. But it really works very well. I am very pleased.

This paw balm is pretty good. My can did come with a dent in it though, which is why I’m marking it down a star.You really have to dig a (clean) finger in the can to get enough out to use, but this is a wonderful, all-natural product that can be used on dogs and humans alike.Having said that, it does seem overpriced. My guess as to why is twofold: 1. It’s got Ziggy’s name on it and 2. The pet products market is incredibly overpriced in general. If you’re cool with that and want a natural treatment to soothe your pets’ paws, get it.

Seems to take care of the dry spots
This is nice stuff, it’s a little firm to get out of the tin but once it warms up a little it’s easier to get a good amount on your fingers. Seems to work great on the dry spots, doesn’t have a smell to speak of (big plus for us) and it’s not as greasy/oily as pure coconut oil is, thanks to the beeswax it has a nice texture that’s not too oily.

Fantastic organic paw balm
This Ziggy Marley Paw Balm is amazing stuff. It has only the slightest hint of a coconut smell to me. I use this on my own hands as well as on my dogs paws. I’m in a cold weather climate and keeping my dogs paws in tip top shape for our hikes through the snow is important. This applies easily and leaves absolutely zero greasy feel – none. Because of the wonderful ingredients it is absolutely safe for you dog to lick this after application. This is one of the cleanest ingredient dog paw balms there is and I like keeping it natural and healthy for me and my pups.

Feels nice
This is a hard product to review because my dog absolutely won’t let me put this on his paws. It comes well packaged and the smell isn’t bad, it’s light and not offensive. I’m not really sure how you’re supposed to use it. I put my fingers in and swirled them around to get the oil to loosen up a bit so I could rub it on him. Very little oil comes out on your fingers. I did initially get it on the top pad of one foot, but it seemed more like it had already absorbed into my skin rather than his. Maybe you need to scoop it out and rub it until it melts or maybe if you hold a lighter to it for a few seconds that might work? It did leave my skin soft and smooth with no reaction. It’s also a bit expensive for such a small container, but that’s just my personal preference.
