Control fleas inside your home without sprays with the TERRO Refillable Flea Trap. This trap detects, monitors, and controls flea infestations by lure fleas from up to 30 feet away using light and heat as attractants. Fleas leap into the trap where they get stuck fast on a SuperGrabber replaceable glue board. The glue boards will also capture other insects that attempt to cross its path. This trap also features a protective canopy that keeps objects, people and pets from coming in contact with the sticky glue board. The TERRO Refillable Flea Trap is easy to use. To set up, simply extend the canopy until it clicks into place, insert the glue board and remove the release paper, and then turn on the light. Place the trap on the floor in an area where fleas are common – typically where your pet spends a lot of time. Put in a fresh glue board every two to four weeks. This trap includes two glue board inserts, with additional refills sold separately.
Detect & Control – Eliminate existing indoor flea problems or use it as an early detection device to monitor flea problems before they begin

If your light bulb has burned out, replacements can be found at many local retailers. For best results, it should be replaced with a 7 watt, 120 volt bulb, similar to what you would use in an electric candle.

Customers say

Customers find the product simple to set up and use. However, some feel it’s overpriced, with the refills costing a lot. They also mention issues with the bulb life and durability. Opinions vary on functionality, catchability, stickiness, and brightness.

    Works great
We had a pretty bad bought with fleas this summer and this little thing worked great. I like that you can see it working by finding the fleas stuck on the trap. We tried so many different things and this was one thing that actually worked and helped to get rid of the fleas.

    Flea’tastic lol
A friend told me that Terro is the brand exterminators use, I have not been disappointed. My dogs were scratching and although i didnt see any fleas on them or me, something was going on. After giving them their monthly flea pill. I got one of these to try, putting in the area they spend most of their time. (My office with me lol) and wow the next morning it had caught fleas , fly and some wingy thing. My husband was ecstatic just over the fly being caught lol…ordered 8 more to use in each room and refills lol. After a month no longer catching fleas so removed most out of the rooms, but my dogs and cats are no longer scratching. Anything Terro brand has been great. Ant traps are my go to when spring comes. But thats another review

    Super convenient
This flea trap is one of a kind. There is no smell from packaging. You open it up and just snap a few things together and plug it in.The light has a decent output, it’s warm lighting.Durability is there. Not thick plastic legs, but they hold up great.Size is about 6″x6″x6″, just going off the top of my head. It’s able to fit in a lot of places. The traps are decently sticky. Nothing like rat trap sticky, but enough to hold fleas and Flys. The life of the light bulb was not long at all. Maybe a week worth of hours in the bulb and it went out.Altogether, I’d say it was worth it. It caught about a dz fleas in the time we had it running before the bulb burnt out. (We do live in the country and have a lot of stray animals coming and going. Aprox 2 or 3 fleas a day come inside from just walking outside and back in.) But this is a lot more convenient then spraying chemicals, or constantly having to wash everything in hot water to kill the fleas thay make their way inside.(We do not have pets inside, so I can not vouch for how effect it would be from helping with fleas on pets. Such as if the fleas would prefer the light to the animals)

    Doesn’t seem to work
I recently adopted a 3 month feral, straight out of my yard. He has fleas, no doubt about it, but I can’t apply a flea treatment because he won’t let me touch him yet. I hoped this would help along with capstar to keep the flea population relatively under control. But it didn’t catch a single one. Not one flea, not even a fruit fly or gnat or spider. I would love to boast on how clean I keep the house, but I know it’s not an absence of bugs. I touched the light bulb and it doesn’t feel that hot at all, so not sure if my product is defective or it just doesn’t work in general. It sucks, because the Terro baits for ants do work wonders, so I had high hopes for this one.

Works as a General Bug Trap
Works quite well as a general bug trap. After our cat got fleas, we placed it a few feet away from one of our her favorite sleeping spots on the living room floor. Over the course of a month it nabbed fleas, as well as gnats, flies, moths, a few centipedes, and even a couple of spiders. The light is about as bright as the average night light. You shouldn’t have any problems leaving it on so long as you don’t drape anything over it or let the bulb come into direct contact with anything flammable (ie. the basic common sense stuff for any exposed light bulb). My cat has had zero interest in the trap, but ymmv. Avoid if you have overly curious/stupid pets because the glue is strong enough to be a hassle to get off your hands so it could definitely pull out fur too.

placed it under my dogs raised bed, within hours i saw the fleas sticking to it. very disgusting to see but it works, i will be buying more replacement sticky pads and continue to use until i have the flea problem under control completely.

It only lasted a couple months before it died
When I first received the unit, it was easy to assemble and seemed to work well. I had just taken in a stray and although I started a flea preventative, wanted to be sure there weren’t any remaining. I left the unit plugged in for the next month and it was great for trapping other small bugs and a spider as well. After couple months the light no longer worked. I tried replacing the bulb. Still did not work.So now I have pack of sticky boards but no working unit. Very disappointed!

These work great! Basement only is carpeted and we had a tough time getting rid of the fleas down there. This attracted them in no time, and when the next batch hatched you could tell that they were immediately going to it. No one sleeping down there got bit anymore. However at night if you walked too close to it you had to check your ankles for fleas as they were clearly making their way to the light and hopped on you.
