Safe, comfortable, easy to use and assemble
This little chair has been perfect for our little grandson. He likes the chair, he is safe in the chair, and he seems to be quite comfortable in it as he eats his food, plays with his plastic utensils, and doesnât cry when he is placed in the chair. It was easy to assemble with good instructions, and it is sturdy. It is easy to clean and looks smart. I had another brand but we all (adults and kids) like this one better. It was actually less expensive than the other brand, and now my 2 year old granddaughter wants to sit in this chair tooâ¦may have to get a second one. It is easy to move and fits nicely to the table so the kids are able to sit right near their mom.

Very sturdy and high quality
Easy to build and easy to clean! The safety on this thing is nice and i like how the height is adjustable. This chair will basically grow with your child! It’s very lightweight and sturdy.

Not for newborn or infant. Great for toddler
I wanted this chair for my baby but the cushion was way too thin n flimsy, the bar that holds the stomach is not easily detached n you have to remove the entire side of the chair to do so, the seat strap was sown on the bottom so the bar that holds the baby stomach cannot be detached. Chair is a little wobble but still holds up. Haven’t broken yet. Had it since February 2024.Overall I gave it to my 2.5 yo. It looks pretty next to my other dinning room chairs so I decided to keep it. I also like how it can easily glide on my titles. Also paint is good. My toddler is potty training n she urinated on this chair like 4x so far. The straps holds the toddler in well but I dont use it.Con. The bar cannot be detached I let it hang from the bottom back. My toddler used to kick the bar, which drove me nuts but eventually she stopped thankfully. It’s such a waste if I cut off that permant strap/seat belt/ thing that holds the bar for baby.

Nice high chair for a decent price
This was easy to put together and seems to be made well. The screws are bit soft so be careful not to strip them. I love that this has the wide adjustable foot plate! That was the main reason I chose this style high chair over a folding one. However I did not want to spend $400. This is my second child and weâre not planning to have more. We did not keep our older childâs high chair, because we moved internationally. May larger five month old sits comfortably in this chair and can rest his feet on the board. He sits pretty well independently but the firm seat and 5 point harness when installed properly provides plenty of support and stability. Heâs very excited about starting solids and is very happy to sit in his chair and play on his tray.

Easy to clean
We have the Tripp trapp for our older son and bought this for the baby. I like this chair better than the Tripp trapp for a few reasons. 1) the wooden tray is flat on both sides making it very easy to clean while the Tripp trapp tray has many small plastic sections on the bottom which were very difficult to clean. 2) this one is slightly taller making it perfect for our ikea dining table. The tray slides right over the table while the front of the baby seat slides under the table. The Tripp trapp baby seat hit the edge of the table so the baby could never sit at the table without the tray 3) it came with the cushionsPlus the natural wood is beautiful

Poor harness design; Solid Construction
We purchased this as a more affordable alternative to the popular “name brand” chair of similar design. When we started introducing our 6 month old to foods, he had to sit pretty high in the chair, and the space between the seat and the guard that holds the harness (which is stapled to it, making cleaning a real pain) was very tight, making getting him down into the seat difficult. now that he’s almost 9 months, contorting him so he fits in that space is next to impossible. The harness position also provides almost no support, even when fully tightened, so the baby can shift left to right or slide down in the seat very easily.The chair is very solid and well-built, so it gets points there, but if we could do it again, we would have spent the extra $100 for the name brand option with easier cleaning, better posture promoting harness, and easier seating system for getting baby in-and-out.

Not what I had hoped
I bought this about 5 months ago and am coming back to let folks know about our experience.Used this with my daughter from when she was 6 mos – 11 mos.Bought the curipeer as a cheaper alternative to the tripp trapp and really tried to convince myself that it was a helpful chair until my daughter used a friend’s high chair while on vacation and ate substantially more/better. This chair offers hardly any support for baby’s torso, making it easy for them to slump down, turn around, and get distracted. She was more comfortable, ate more food, and threw less food with a chair that has more support/more of a seat. Got a new chair when we got home and her feeding has continued to be much better.I can see it as a potentially okay chair for an older toddler but would not recommend it for babies who are learning how to eat solids.The veneer on the tray also started to peel off only a few months after using it.
