Will work for almost all dog hairs…except extremely soft, fluffy hair
My puppy has really soft, fluffy hair. It does not work for that. The hair just either simply pass through it without cutting or if it does cut, it just accumulates (tangled) between the blades!! I think if your dog has normal thickness hair this should work (based on all the other reviews I have read).Updated: 1/4/2017I would like to update my earlier feedback and review (2star to 4star) based on my experience with the seller’s customer service and a newer version of the product sent to me.I had returned this item in December. However, the seller contacted me and offered to send me a new and better version, which I think was very nice of them. The new version (product ID B01G30895S) definitely worked better than the initial version. As I mentioned in my previous feedback, by puppy has extremely soft fluffy hair. With this new product, I was able to cut hair a bit more efficiently. The hair still would tend to accumulate in the blades, but not as much as the earlier product (I do not have the product ID for the earlier version since I have sent it back), which really helped. The issue is probably more my puppy’s hair; her hair is the softest dog (or human) hair I have touched! So this product should work for most of the dogs and cats. I know this because her hair towards the rear, near the tail, is a little thicker and the clipper works great in that area (I know, my puppy is unique!!!! 🙂 )I would definitely recommend this seller and their products.

Great clippers for the price
Bought them for my yorkie, I had no issues with them, there light weight and easy you use, the low sounds doesnât bother him, he didnât like my last clippers for some reason and these donât tend to bother him, combs are easy to use, scissors are kinda cheap material but it got the job done, would definitely recommend to anyone thatâs a first timer or for home use theyâll do fine

Cost Effective and Great Accessories
Great power, large number of accessories in the box, a complete kit for long and short hair grooming. I liked the packaging for ease of storage. Dual self sharpening trimming head unlike other silent clippers. I wish the nail file was a bit stronger but Iâm Happy with the purchase.

great for the prices
I was skeptical at first because of the price but i thought why not? If they didn’t work well they are cheap enough plus the seller offered a 5% discount as well. My dog is a 120 lb giant ball of fur as a long hair bulldog mix. I took them out of the package and they looked a little smaller than my corded clippers i have been using for a couple yrs now. They came almost fully charged but i charged them up anyway. They only took a short while to fully charge. Well these bad boys didn’t disappoint at all!! This job is one I usually put off because it takes a few hours to trim my pups hair. These clippers cut through his hair like a warm knife to butter. I was able to cut his hair in less than half of the time it usually takes. If anyone is looking for a good pair of dog clippers these are the one. Also i like the fact that they are cordless and i wasnt fighting the cord while trimming.

Wouldnât work on coarse hair
These clippers wouldnât work on coarse dog hair. It was a waste of time to try to get the clippers through the hair that wasnât even very long.They did, however, work well on fine dog hair.

My Schnoodle loves it
I can’t believe I can do a better job at home on my poodle and Schnoodle than they’ve giron at groomers in the 4 years since I’ve moved to this state. I had another inexpensive cordless clipper that only works half as well as this one. My Schnoodle has thick curly hair like her puddle mom did and this zips right through it. She’s built Schnauzer like her daddy so I give her a Schnauzer cut and it’s so easy! She was really a mess when I got the clipper and it shipped right through her dreadlocks. She had a Schnauzer summer cut in no time with no razer burns. I love it and recommend this quiet, efficient clipper to anyone who loves their dog.

Dull out insanely quick!
I bought these 2 months ago and the first 20 minutes cutting my sogs hair they worked pretty decent. The more I cut the harder it was and it was a huge pain. 2 months later just tried to trim my dogs hair before it got too long, thinking maybe it would help. It won’t cut anything what so ever. Doesn’t matter the direction, how fast/slow I move the clippers. Fully charged and on full blast and they are doing absolutely nothing what so ever. I have a cocker spaniel so his hair does get thick, but I personally wouldn’t recommend these.

Es bueno pero si el pelo de tu perrito está enredado es muy difÃcil cortarlo, se necesita que esté bien peinado para que corte con facilidad, la baterÃa si dura lo suficiente para hacer el trabajo
