Didn’t last thru one playtime
Nice bright colors and the size was great, but it took forever to get enough air in side areas. Directions said there was an adapter piece to add air and/or water. It was not included as it said making it much harder to fill with air and water. After getting it filled, the items that were floating just stuck to the top of the mat and didn’t move. PLUS the side seam connecting the side and bottom sprung a leak. It wasn’t my cat’s fault as she wouldn’t do anything but lay and look at it. Without the adapter I couldn’t remove the air and water from the mat, so in frustration I slit it with a knife. TOTAL WASTE of my time and money. I am very disappointed and frustrated. And my cat still doesn’t have a new toy or interest activity.

Cute
This is very cute I saw it on a video on social media one day and I had to buy it! I have 7 cats so I was sure one of them would be interested in playing with it, they were not lol but I still love it because it’s such a cute idea and it’s durable so holes can’t be poked into it by the cats, they just like to lay on it I don’t think they understand what it’s actually for lol it’s not super big but it also isn’t small, it’s a good size for any one single cat at a time or a couple of kittens. I recommend it if you run any kind of rescue or animal shelter and have cats.

Made poorly
The AVETANK New Thickened Cat Water Mat was a disappointment. My cats hated it and showed no interest in engaging with it. Additionally, the mat is made from very cheap materials and doesnât seem durable at all. I wouldnât recommend this product.

Awful chemical smell – cat would not go near it
The product delivers in terms of visual quality – it seems sturdy enough to withstand kitty claws for a respectable amount of time to make the purchase worthwhile. Putting water in was easy.However, the cat refused to go near it. The chemical off-gassing smell was so bad we put the water mat in the garage. The next morning, the entire garage had a chemical PVC smell that gave me a headache. Even after 4 days, the mat smelled like we had just taken it out of the box. By that point, mold began to grow in the water because it was in the hot garage. We threw it out.In my opinion, no, I would not purchase this item and no I would not recommend this item.

Maybe better for kittens or kids
The product is cute, but it has a very colorful background which I think makes it hard for cats to see the fish. Also the fish are really big, like 3 inches, and there are only 6 of them. They really donât move around well to chase. I expected lots of cute little fish that the cats would want to attack. One of my cats, who is very sensitive to smell would not go near the vinyl smell and when I tried to set her on it, you would have thought I was putting her in a vat of acid. Itâs a no go in my house.

Please don`t waste your money on this mat. It is adorable but cheap. It looks pretty durable but I set it on the floor yesterday and this morning the air had leaked out and it was leaking water from somewhere. Too bad because it is cute but unless you have a long roll of repair tape, stay away from it.

I bought this for my 1 year old cat, on the recommendation of my vet because she gets destructive when she is anxious.First of all, took almost a month to arrive. Not happy about that.Secondly, when you open it, the label says this is for belly time for babies. Because of my research I know that the cat version is supposed to have fish or something for the cats to chase in it. That is not there. The plastic was thin too so my girl would have punctured it in no time.When I tried to return, I had to pay shipping. I paid $10 and change for this; not paying return postage for an item I bought based on the description which was wrong. Seller offered me $3 and then I don’t need to return. Should have been a full refund but I took it (see if they actually give me the return on it-not hopeful but will contact Amazon if I need to) and threw this in the garbage

My cat was interested in this right away. She played with it for about 30 minutes. She has lost interest after a few days but when she walks by it she will tap at it to see the water move and also sleeps on it occasionaly.
