Bigger than expected – yay!
I just opened this for my cats so will have to edit this review later with durability info. These are much bigger than I expected, though, which is awesome for safety. For perspective, the chompy boy in the picture is 25 lbs. I’d estimate these little ropes are at least 1/2″ thick. They’re pretty sturdy. My one safety concern for Sir Chews A Lot is the little string with the pod on it so, until I know how my cats do with this, I’ll be putting these away when I’m not home. The cat in the picture has a major history of chewing & eating random things, but he’s calmed down some at 10 yo. He’s very interested in this toy and it even got him moving some which is huge!

My cat is in Love! She injoy’s these toy’s so much she comes to me each night and ask’s me to play with her 🙂 It’s not that playing alone isn’t fun but she enjoy’s it more when it’s the two of us.

Instant Playtime
My kitletts instantly started dragging these all around the flat! I’m not too sure how I feel about the little nob on the end, I’m supervising playtime to see how this goes, I’m concerned they’ll be chocking hazards with how my cats chomp on just about anything. The catnip bags are ridiculous, I wouldn’t purchase those on their own.

My kitten is teething right now and chews everything in sight, so these chew ropes are a great distraction for her. She loves using them as toys. This is a great product for both kittens and older cats.
