Very pretty but not for everyday wear
It looks gorgeous but would only wear it for special events. The metal doesn’t seem very sturdy or durable for every day wear. It stretchs a bit to curve around the neck but feel like if my dog hook it on something that it would snap. Also the heart is only attached to a small metal piece so could break off easily if it gets bent to much. Again the collar is gorgeous but differently not something I would have my dog wear everyday.

I bought this collar, along with a variety of others, back in 2017. It’s been in my closet all this time until 2 months ago. I put this on my cat, Sophie, and within an hour, she started howling. Sophie is 10 years old, and is an orange, SHORT-HAIRED tabby. She’s a cuddle bug and does get chatty. Overall, she’s got the sweetest disposition. She only howled one other time, and that was putting her in the carrier after she was spayed. I couldn’t figure out why she was howling, and she’d retreated under the bed, howling the entire time. After 30 minutes my husband and I were able to get a hold of her. Thank God we were able to figure it out immediately. Her fur had become MATTED into the collar. It was apparent that the more she tried to “scratch” at it, it only became more tangled. In the rhinestone area, quite a few prongs had been bent, and those wound up scratching her. The ONLY way we were able to get this off of her was to cut it off, and even then it was still stuck! I had to give her medication to sedate her, and then we were able to basically dismantle the collar. She had eleven that were badly tangled, 4 of which were so severe, I had to take a paring knife and basically ‘saw’ through the fur & dried blood to get these off of her. After we got everything off, I did a closer inspection of the collar itself. The prongs for the stones are VERY malleable. SIDENOTE: our cat is declawed, so we knew that the prongs weren’t bent as a result of her scratching trying to get it off, but, my 87 year-old, very arthritic mother was able to bend these like knife going through butter! The collar, itself, WAS quite beautiful! However, I would be hesitant to put it on an extremely short-haired animal after our experience. I would also be hesitant to have this on a pet if there are small children in the household, especially given how easy it is to damage it. I did email the company, and I cited where I purchased this all the way back in ’17, and that I WAS NOT looking for a refund, but that I wanted to give them notice of safety concerns(both what had occurred and other hazards that could occur in the future.) I got a response after 10 days: “You are out of the time window for refund and warranty. We don’t have complaints like this. It sounds like you didn’t follow the installation instructions.” INSTALLATION??? All in all, ESPECIALLY after receiving that email, please do not but this product!

This was for my small dog and itâs very cute it looks really good on them but the heart fell off within a week I still like the rest of the color even though there is no heart on it

This is perfect for my long haired princess! I originally had on a regular cat collar you can buy anywhere and it was great but you couldnât see it through her hair. Needed new collar for my fuzzy fur baby. Just a hair big for her will b even more so after her spa day. But when her fur grows in it won’t b as tight around her neck. TO ADD MORE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE COLLAR IS YHE HEART FELL OFF IN FEBRUARY JUST AFTER EE GOT IT LEAVING SHARP METAL EDGES. THEN JUST TODAY, MARCH13, THE WHOLE BLING PART FELL APART. This is so cute!! It’s well made, with good materials. Doesn’t feel like it will snap apart or anything. You do have to put it in a bit looser than normal so it will dangle, but it’s wider than I thought so even if it’s on snugly it will look great!

The design was very nice but pulled to the buckle side as it was heavier that the diamond gorget, so unless she was still the effect was not as shown. My cat managed to wear out the metal links and the rhinestone edges came undone with potential to scratch skin.Keep improving and designing. Look forward to new ideas.
