One of my dogs (out of four) is completely obsessed with this toy! I kid you not, I will have to buy a couple more to keep on hand and put in our car for travel. The first one started coming apart at the top seam in a couple days of having is and the second one is just starting to separate as well, but he still plays with both just fine. Silas literally knows the toy by name as âMr. Krabsâ and we have to take it away and hide it or he will demand for it to be thrown for HOURS a day (sadly, not an exaggeration). Might not be the most durable, but Silas would give it a 10 star rating if he could because out of the pile of 50 toys he will always chose Mr. Krabs.

My dogs have loved this toy and I would recommend it! They are big chewers and they love toys that make noise and this one makes squeaking noises on different octaves. I gave it 4 stars because within a day one of the claws was torn off, with in the first week, and that is the only thing they have torn off in the couple of months they’ve had this toy. I attached pictures because Bella my 11 month old mixed Cane Corso & Golden Doodle Puppy carries it around by the claws often, it with stands her carrying it around. When they get the large size ball in their mouth, it is the body of the crab, they chew on it to make it squeak and I throw it. It has held up pretty well over the last few months which I have a hard time finding durable toys with my large dogs with large chewers. My other two dogs are a 85lb Cane Corso who is 2 years old and very rough with it and my other is a 90lb Black Labrador Retriever who is 13 and a half so he doesn’t play as much as the younger two. I rely on these reviews so I wanted to let others know about this good one.

My dog loves this!
This is the second toy I have bought. My dog loves it. At about 7:30 pm each night, she begins squeaking it non-stop. She wants my other dog to play with her, but my other dog won’t. The squeaking lasts a good half hour and gets Lucy’s frustrations out. She finally chewed the last one apart, so she got a new one.

It is not reinforced in the middle. Me and my dog played tug of war and the monkey ripped open within minutes. 🙁

Maybe durable for small dogs. Not so much for mine
Our dogs are toy destroyers. The only toys that have held up are hard rubber jolly balls and k-ongs and the like. Softer toys, especially sqeuakers, do not last long.This toy was no better or worse than typical toys that claim to be durable. In other words – it almost made it one evening. Please keep in mind, this is average. Hence the average score. It may be quite sturdy for smaller breeds or ones that are simply not “championship chewers” as ours are.The rope part is still somewhat intact, though – so there is that…. but the rest of it is toast.

We have 2 Golden Retrievers and this is a great toy for tug between the 2 of them or to play with by themselves or with us. They really like the elephant and I find itâs well made and am so happy with it weâve just ordered the Frog to add to their toy chest.

My dog (a labradoodle) loves soft toys but she has a habit of quickly destroying them. She likes to chew at them losening the stitching with her teeth so she can pull the stuffing out. This toy is able to withstand that (so far). The toy is soft enough that my dog likes it (she does not like hard toys) but durable. She also seems to enjoy the squeeking, which is not as annoying as the plastic squeeker toys. I would purchase another but hopefully it will last for some time and would recommend to others.
