These scissors are great! I have a four year old Cavachon (Half Bichon, half King Charles Cavalier Spaniel) and havenât had to take him to a groomer. I do it myself, and have a lot of help from my 14-year-old daughter, who is a natural. These scissors help with getting the best curves that I need, around his cute little muzzle and head. I could get the job done before I had these, but having the right tools to do the job, makes it better for everyone involved. These scissors make the job a little quicker, a little easier, and definitely a lot safer. If you want to save literally thousands of dollars over the life of your dog, by doing your dogâs hair yourself, I have some tips for you. First, watch a lot of YouTube videosâThereâs nothing you canât do, with the help of YouTube. Secondly, keep your clippers well lubricated and make sure they are not getting too hot for your pet. To extend the life of your tools, ensure you will be cutting/clipping clean hair/fur. Invest in a can of Cool Care, for petsâ sake! Cool Care not only lubricates your clippers, it cleans/disinfects them and cools off the blades. Make the world a cuter place, while saving a wad of cash!

For a home groomer….
these are great grooming scissors. After watching a ton of how to……grooming videos on YouTube, one of the professional groomers recommended these curved scissors, plus showed how to use them around the dog’s face. I have a Havanese mutt mix and have been grooming him at home for a few years. The salon prices just kept going up to the point I could no longer afford every 6 weeks of professional salon cuts. So I invested in my own dog grooming equipment (i.e. cordless shaver, quality dog grooming shaver, thinning scissors, multiple blades, etc.) all from Amazon. I’m not the best at doing scissor work but these sure do help trim around his eyes and mouth. I also use these around his paws and between his pads to trim down the hair that the shaver can’t get. The curve part of these scissors make it so much easier. These are sharp so be very cautious and attentive when using.

Not too sure about the quality of these.
I purchased a pair of these scissors, and within a couple of months, they went dull super fast. I’ve only used them on my dog’s hair, so I’m not sure why they didn’t last very long. The seller did send me a replacement pair, so we’ll see how long these last. I would not recommend them and would spend the money to get a nice pair.

Scissors are excellent!! storage pouch, not so much
Sharp right out of the box, so that was nice. The blunted tip is nice to prevent unintended injuries. The plastic storage pouch is super thin and cheap and I put a hole in it the first time I put the scissors in it. Quality of the scissors is great, but they probably could have spent a little more than one cent on the cheap plastic pouch so I had a place to store the scissors.
