Amazed at the amount of fur this tool removed!
I am so impressed by this Cat & Dog Brush for Shedding and Dematting by BreBbuming. While I cannot speak to the dematting portion of the brush because my dog has short fur, I am amazed by the deshedding side (and both sides actually work at deshedding). I recently adopted a dog that is part German Shepard. Before adopting him, I had no idea about undercoats. I just couldn’t figure out why grooming my dog with a pet brush just wasn’t removing much fur, yet he was shedding all over everything. A groomer at the pet store introduced me to undercoats and recommended a VERY expensive deshedding tool (over $35 expensive). I decided to try this one instead. And I’m so glad I did. I was AMAZED at the amount of fur that came away on the tool. It was a bit difficult to run the ârakeâ through his fur in some areas but that’s because he’s a rescue and I don’t think he’s ever been groomed before. Even with feeling like the brush was pulling through the fur at times, my dog was so happy with this brush. He was in absolute heaven, eyes closed and sitting as still as a statute so I wouldn’t stop brushing. Removing all that excess fur seemed to make him feel even better. This tool is solidly made and feels of good quality with a comfortable handle. The âteethâ are solid; they’re definitely not going to bend easily if you’re going to use this on difficult mats. And the teeth are very smooth, so they glide across the skin, and I’m not concerned they’re going to hurt or scratch him like a wire brush. I believe the side with the teeth closer together is for deshedding and the other side is for dematting. I actually used the dematting side for those areas that the tool was difficult to brush through the fur and then switched to the deshedding side to really remove the excess fur. Highly recommend!

Sheltie dog loves it
The doggo sat so nicely. He loved getting combed out with this. Clears the undercoat without pulling and tugging. Would buy again!

Love it
This is a great quality brush. I love that it is double sided, makes it take up the space of one tool instead of two. The handle is comfortable and easy on the wrist. I would recommend!

Worked well for my cat
I have a long-haired cat who sheds a lot and gets little mats under his armpits. He needs to be brushed a lot but it still happens. This brush is nice because I can handle all of it at once. The picture shows two brushes but you only get the one double-sided one. My cat enjoyed brushing and I was able to get his mats out no problem.

If you have a long hair dog you need one of these
Cat & Dog Brush for Shedding and Dematting Review This brush seems to be a really good value at less than ten dollars. It is a sturdy brush and yet easy, kind and safe to use. There is one brush included at this price. This brush can help eliminate a lot of the shedding hair that seems to fly loose through the air especially If you have a dog with an undercoat. The handle is soft and easy to hold. I am pleased with this shedding brush.

Nice dematting tool
This dematting tool works as it should. I used it on my shih tzus, who tend to get mats around their ears and tails. The teeth feel a bit large for this size of dog, but I was able to get the mats out and a bit of shedding hair as well. Good value for the price!

Great for getting out undercoat
If you have a double coated dog, you need this combing tool. I usually call it a grooming rake because it looks a bit like a rake, but whatever you call it, it’s a great de-shedding tool. I’ve been grooming dogs for a long time and this is one of several tools that I’d never be without because its the only thing that easily gets below the top coat to pull out loose undercoat. I can brush with a pin brush, a paddle brush or even a comb and get a bit of loose hair out, but as soon as I use this tool, I pull out handfuls of wispy undercoat. I use the side with wider teeth for getting out mats first and then follow up with the side with the teeth close together to get out undercoat. When used properly, this rake is amazing and is a tool every double coated dog owner should have in their grooming kit.

Dog comb
It says it can be used for dogs with short hair , but not really good for short haired dogs . Better with thicker coats on dogs .
