Does the job
I like all the different sounds this makes, but my favorite is the rain sounds. Living in the country is not as quiet as it used to be, but this takes care of it. I like that I can charge it and then carry it to different places in my house. It lasts all night long, covering up the roosters crowing in the morning. So far I haven’t traveled with it.

This was a very nice looking and functional. You do notice the audible reset on the noises, however. It doesn’t bother me much, but I do notice it as I’m falling asleep.

Perfect for Noise Reduction
I bought this machine to help reduce noise while my toddler sleeps. It has different tones and volume control which is great. The only downside is that the battery goes out quick. It must be plugged in at all times. It’s great because it’s portable and we travel with it.

Ample functionality for the price
The machine arrives in a plain white box with a line drawing of the unit on front and a chart on back that lists all of the brand and manufacturing information. The box is just large enough to hold the main unit, charging cable, and instructions. Upon removing from the box, the unit itself feels sturdy enough. The main part of the unit is plastic, but it appears that the speaker grill may be black painted metal? From a few feet away, the “wood grain” actually looks like real wood. If you get up close, you can see it’s just printed, or whatever. It is a nice change from the usual black, or grey (clinical looking) devices you see these days. When I flipped it over to look at the bottom, I noticed it was missing one of the rubber(?) feet. I looked in the wrapping, and luckily it was stuck to the inside of the protective wrap. The feet are just flat pieces of foam, or rubber, that are stuck onto the bottom with some sticky material. I was able to apply the loose one back to the unit, and it was all good.The unit arrived with some charge, so I was able to test out all of the settings, etc. It took a bit to figure out what each button did, but I think this is because the little icons aren’t easy to see unless you really look at them. Maybe if the indented icons where painted black, or white, it would help them to stand out?The sounds all seem to be well recorded and are very realistic (the “thunderstorm” turned way up can be quite jarring, lol!). There is a nice variety available so most should be able to find something they like. In the past, we’ve had a few other “noise machine” type devices. They always had a spot in the sound file where you could hear it “start over”. To me, that’s very distracting and instead of creating a “soothing environment” it tended to cause me to remain awake listening for that loop point. So far, after listening to several of the sounds, this machine doesn’t appear to have an audible “loop” spot on any of the sounds I’ve tried. This is a VERY good thing.The light, eh, I can take it or leave it. So far, I haven’t really felt the need for it. Maybe it could be used to create a “mood”? It is nice that it has multiple colors to choose from, though.Ive rated this at 4 stars only because the button icons are hard to see. Other than that, I would recommend this unit to anyone who needs a noise machine to help with getting to sleep.

Decently sounding sound machine with a variety of white noise, wind, and water sounds. The buttons are hard to decipher, but a little trial and error and you can mostly figure them out. The finish leaves a bit to be desired, as the faux wood grain looks very plasticy.

I just started using sound machines this past year and I have several of them. I’m not using them for sleeping but rather to help cover up some noise from my very loud upstairs neighbor. While it doesn’t cover up the sound, it helps to distract from the noise. I use it while I work from home or when the noise gets particularly loud.This is my favorite machine for many reasons. For starters, the ‘wood grain’ just has a nice appearance. it blends in with the furniture & doesn’t stick out like a plastic one. It is also very easy to use. It comes with instructions, but the description itself is so clear & organized that all you have to do is look at it for a second to see which button is which. (It’s hard to see any symbols on the different buttons as they all have the same wood grain tone.)Some other good features : There is a nightlight with different colors,, a timer, it has memory which I particularly like, as it remembers your last selection. You can also change sounds by pressing a button … you don’t have to cycle all the way through each sound as with my other machines.. The sound is very clear, not muffled at all & you can make it loud.It has 20 sounds but my favorite are always the nature, water & rain sounds. This is an excellent machine for kids/babies & adults. Highly recommended.

The sound quality is great and the volume options are great. The buttons are clear and easy to use and the sound variety is great. My only issue is it didnât come with a USB plug to plug in so it defeats the object of it being a plug in. I had to order an additional plug.

I like my noise machines loud but this isn’t quite loud enough. The white noise sounds are tinted with crackling and the tones are too soft.
