This is a nice brush for my long-haired cat.
I have a senior cat who has long hair that is thinning so the deshedding brush I have been using on him seems too harsh. This brush seemed like it would be gentler on his thinning fur and fragile skin, so I ordered one. It is a nice brush. The bristles are gentle yet still gather up the hair that is shedding. The self-cleaning feature is great – push the button on the back and all the hair is gathered up and easily disposed of. The only thing I don’t really like about this brush is the shape. The round head is harder to use in areas like his chest and under his chin than rectangular or oval shaped brushes, but this might be something I just need to get used to. I also wish the handle had a better quality grip on it. It is hard plastic and doesn’t feel like it is as good of a quality as brushes with ergonomic or rubberized handles.

Got this brush for my cats. I love the button to clean the brush. It works great. It removes hair well on my short haired cats and even on my lab. Super easy to use.

This is a nice slicker brush. It works exceptionally well on my long-haired cat. It does next to nothing on my cattle dog. It seems to be best on soft hair. I absolutely love the self-cleaning feature. That works well, and makes using a slicker brush pleasant. It’s soft and didn’t hurt my skin or the cat’s. My cattle dog was less impressed. My only complaint is that it just feels a little cheap/light in the hands. At any rate, the mechanism that helps the self-cleaning looks solidly built, so I guess I can’t complain.

Fast Clean
This slicker is lightweight, and the wire bristles have soft protected ends, making it nicer for the pet. It won’t scratch them as you are brushing. This brush works well to remove loose hair and help work out tangles. And when you get a bunch of hair in the brush, you just push the button on the back to clean the bristles. Then you are ready for the next attack.
