Great little sound machine
Pleasantly surprised with this sound machine. We originally purchased a much more expensive brand that came with all the bells and whistles and honestly that one left me feeling overwhelmed and like I wasnât going to use it for all it was designed for. Additionally that one required power & WiFi and that seemed like an ultimate fail since those things arenât guaranteed. Decided to go with something more simple which was the lumi after reading reviews and it does exactly what it says. I like the varying light options – 5 settings for nightlight and the volume has quite a range on it. It does remember the last setting you were on if you shut it off and turn it back on. The only thing I would change would be that you could turn the light on without turning the power button on (which is what would turn the sound on) however you can avoid the sound being disruptive if you just turn it down before turning it off so the machine remembers when itâs turned on again. I think most of the time when using the nightlight feature, the sound will probably be in use anyway so thatâs a minor downfall for me personally. I also wish that there was a bit of illumination from the buttons just to see which ones youâre pressing if youâre in the dark but most sound machines donât have that regardless. Itâs also nice that you can plug it in to charge and then unplug to take from room to room. We havenât used this extensively yet to comment on battery life but if I have issues I will update my review. Overall I like that this is a simple sound machine and I donât have to worry about the power being on to use it and I donât have to worry about connectivity with an app or WiFi issues. Some of the bells and whistles with the fancy sound machines are actually more downfalls than perks in my eyes.

Great choices in colors and sounds
This works great with a fan noise and pink color when I have my granddaughter. Itâs very similar to what she has at home. I like to have a dim color changing light and the ocean waves. Puts me to sleep very quickly.

Serving its purpose
Bought and return the halo sound machine bc it was defective as well as too complicated and not rechargeable. Found this item on Amazon and decided to try it. Itâs very user friendly. No app nonsense and no WiFi to hack and have a creep say things to your kids. Love that it is rechargeable and cord free when in play. Has a nice speaker, a good variety of sounds and different light colors and brightness settings. Battery life is great too. I get at least 12-14 hours on a single charge. The only thing I have an issue with is getting the nightlight to stay on when the dimmest light setting is selected. It turns off after a minute. Cannot figure out why. Considering exchanging to see if the one I got is a lemon.

Only plays sounds for 30 seconds.
I keep my machine plugged in. I hit the 90 minute timer. Each and every time it only plays the white noise for 30 seconds and then shuts itself off. I think I got a lemon. Too bad I am just outside of the return window. I guess it will go in the garbage.

Nice and compact perfect for home or travel
This is great that it’s portable and rechargeable or corded if you wish. It’s surprisingly loud on the higher volumes which we wouldn’t have it in but it might be a need for you. Preset timer is nice as well as ability to turn off or change light colors.

I have tinnitus so this has completely changed the game. I usually have to listen to something on my phone (with ads) or have the fan on (which is fine in the summer but not so great in the winter) when I sleep. Now I can sleep well with loads of different sounds and volumes to choose from. It also drowns out my noisy neighbours. Also love the night light feature as well. And the battery life is amazing, lasts all night and then some. Best thing Iâve bought!

We are surprisingly loving our Lumi and trying out all the the different functions. I was pleasantly surprised by the actual product because the packaging is a little lack lustre. The material it is made out of and colours are quite subdued and not shiny and as high quality as the actual product. It just seems very plain and slightly off considering how great the actual product is.The product gave so much more than I was expecting. The sound for one really travels and at its loudest I can hear from downstairs when itâs up in the bedroom. So convenient that itâs got different levels so you can get it at the right level for yourself.Itâs well made and offers a variety of different options which makes it accessible and seems it would have something for everyone. Iâm especially impressed with the fact it has no leads or wires and you can use it wireless. Amazing for using in the kids bedrooms.The instructions are very straightforward and easy to use. My 10 year old was able to set it up to her requirements after Iâd used it the night before.I think itâs extremely good value for money for the variety it offers. Able to tailor it to each families needsâ¦I especially enjoy the pulsating light and rain for my guided meditation and to help with my insomnia. Love that I can leave to play all night to help with my insomnia or for 30 mins or so just to get the kids off to sleep. Really versatile product and worked well within the the whole family so for me itâs totally worth it. Had my 18 month old sleep through the night for the first time ever on the 3rd night AMAZING!!!Very easy to use and looks quite robust too.I just donât think the packaging does the product justice if Iâm honest and it feels a little disconnected. However, the Lumi is not to be underestimatedâ¦fantastic little product regardless off what it came in.

Weâve been using this for almost 3 years since our little girl was small. We found it a cost effective choice at the time but still pleased with it all this time later. Itâs has a calming effect for our little one but the size makes it easy to use and portable. We donât tend to use the various light settings but thatâs a nice touch also. We only use one noise setting but the choice of others is varied and good quality. It does also have various turn off time settings which is really handy for turning off in 30 mins, an hour etc. My only one concern is that the lowest noise settings either feel too low or just a bit too loud for my liking. Itâs been a real godsend when weâve had a noisy neighbour or work being done on house whilst little one naps.
