Ohhh.. This is nice!!!
The first words out of my mouth after opening the package. “Oh, this is nice!” Repeated MANY times as I tested it on my Goldens. I interpret my Goldens’ immediate rolling into his back as agreement.The bristles are very stiff, unlike the other in brushes available for the same price or more. The double bristles definitely make a difference. It almost feels like a long pinned slicker but without the deshedding effect.And the base they’re attached to is firm enough to not decrease efficacy but soft enough for cleaning. The plastic bristles are good and stiff allowing for a detailed finishing touch.Handle is pleasant in the hand without over done ergonomics.Up until now I very much avoided metal pinned brushes. And plastic bristle paddle brushes as nothing delivered performance as expected. We relied on quality ConAir vent brushes which are still out go-to form post-bath drying.Without looking at the price I’d guess it cost 3x to 4x actual price.If it’s longevity is anything like the quality of grooming it provides then it’ll be my go-to brush for A LONG time. Time to pick up a couple more to have around the house.Warning:. My review is based upon it’s use with 2 Goldens and a Bernese Mountain Dog. This isn’t a brush I’d recommend for a short to medium coat. The bristles will definitely irritate the skin and are overkill for most breeds.But it’s stiffness allows the groomer to apply varying levels of pressure for different desired effects. But one can apply too much pressure or pull to hard. Be cognizant of how you use it.I’ve always liked Wahl grooming products for humans and was surprised to see that they have a line for pets. The quality didn’t disappoint.Well worth the $10.

Great for Goats
We purchased this brush for our 5 year old grandson to use to brush our goats. We were looking for a brush with a handle. The brush my husband uses is hard for the little kids to hold. This brush works great! It works great for brushing out tangles and works great for brushing out loose hair.

Good brush, loses wire pins too easily
This is overall a good brush. The metal pin side does a great job in removing grass seeds and other such items. The handle feels good in my hand. My only problem with it is that the pins tend to fall out. Will probably need a new brush before long.

The dog likes to be brushed. He needed a new brush. Poor guy sheds a lot, with a thick coat. I use the soft bristles on his face and the pin brush side on the rest of him. Itâs easy to use, the price was reasonable, the brush is not to big to use, and itâs easy to clean out the hair. I would get this again!

Nice sturdy dog brush!
Really nice double sided dog brush (or cat, or whatever). Our dogs are good with it because the pins have nice rounded balls on the ends and don’t scratch like other brushes. Very happy with this one!

I was disappointed with this product. It looked sturdy and well-made, but it did not work well for my dog’s fur. The first side has a double-stack stainless steel pin design that is supposed to remove loose hair and stimulate the skin, but it barely caught any hair at all. The second side has a soft nylon brush that is supposed to distribute natural oils and create a soft coat shine, but it just made my dog’s fur look greasy and dull. I tried using this brush on different parts of my dog’s body, but it did not make any difference.The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it has a comfortable and non-slip grip, and it is easy to clean. But that does not make up for the poor performance of the brush. I would not recommend this product to anyone who wants to groom their dog effectively. It is not worth the price or the hype. I give it 3 stars out of 5.

Got a replacement and first time I used it there’s already a pin that’s fallen out.It’s not getting heavy duty use and for $30+ I’d expect the pins to not start falling out after a few brushes.
