A fun and heartwarming story with a great message
The Pout-Pout Fish has quickly become a favorite in our house! The story is adorable, following a gloomy fish who learns he doesnât have to spread his âdreary weariesâ to others. The rhyming text is catchy and fun to read out loudâmy little one loves the repetitive lines and chimes in with âBlub, bluuuub!â every time. The illustrations are vibrant and engaging, with expressive characters that bring the underwater world to life. Beyond the fun, the book teaches an important message about positivity and spreading kindness, which makes it perfect for kids.Itâs a bit on the longer side for very young children, but the rhythm and playful language keep their attention. Definitely recommend this for any childâs library!

E um livro muito fofo é gostoso de ler, mas como já mais diálogos não sei se funcionará como o meu bebê, talvez com bebês maiores.

I bought this book on a whim as it appears in a lot of recommended reading lists for young children.Itâs an excellent read, so much fun and always brings a smile to my 1 year olds face when I shower him with kisses at the end. Lots of opportunities for the reader to put on their best pouty voice and get involved in the story!I have read some negative feedback regarding this encouraging lack of consent behaviour on a different forum. (All a bit OTT if you ask me)No Iâm sorry I just donât get that perspective at all.Highly recommend!
