These are the best bits to use for grinding dogs’ nails!
These things are amazing! They’re quick and efficient, reducing the time it takes to grind the nails. And they don’t heat up the nail like the Dremel sanding bands do. The result is happier dogs and a much easier job! I gave the spare to a friend, and she’s sold now!

Nice and smooth
I like the precision shape of these dog nail trimming burrs; it reduces the trauma experience by the dog. The fine grit and steady contact surface makes for a smooth experience. I like the concave troughs on the barrel, which helps to shape the claw automatically. I also like the cup shaped end, for easy blending of the sharp edges of the newly ground nail. Nice.

Works great, if the dog will sit still for it, lol
I have an Australian shepherd and she is WAY too anxious to sit still for this. We are training her to relax more with grooming, but if your dog is not used to the Dremel sound I highly recommend acclimating them to it before you just jump right to this option.There is less of the nasty burning smell using this than with products of the same likeness that use a sandpaper-like grinder.

Very Loudâ¦.
My husband put this part on the Dremel and it was SO loud. I have 3 dogs with 3 different attitudes towards getting their nails trimmedâ¦the one that hands me her paws and sits stillâ¦.was so scared that she wouldnât come by the Dremel. I bought two diamond grinders and I am glad the other one is quiet. Maybe I got a defective one, but this was a hard pass for me.

Comes with two bits, smoothed out the nails excellently with all its ridges itâs easy to get a perfectly polished nail. Since itâs diamond itâs less friction so less heat which makes dogs more comfortable getting their nails filed. I will 100% buy again if these were ever to break, but they seem very durable

Some time ago I had bought a Dremel tool for trimming my dog’s nails. It came with a cylindrical head, wrapped in the sandpaper material, which works really well. But when I saw this grinder attachment, which is specifically designed for dog nails, I wanted to give it a try. What I didn’t realize is that I first had to go and buy a special Dremel chuck adapter that would hold the grinder attachment. It worked, but it was an added expense.The grinder itself is well made, and the groove design, to aid in shaping the nail, is a good idea. However, and this is not a flaw of the grinder, it is easier for me to use the original, cylindrical grinder than this one because I feel that I have better control over the shaping the nail, and, this is important, I can see the nail better than when it is somewhat obliterated by the grooves. This is a personal preference but I am hoping that this opinion will help.

Does a great job!
I have used a Dremel with a 120 grit sanding band to care for my dogs nails for many years. When I saw these Diamond Dog Nail Grinding Bits for a Rotary Tool, I immediately ordered them. I have 2 dogs that I grind nails for every two weeks and I thought these would last much longer than the sanding bands I have been using. Little did I know the dogs would tolerate these much better and they would be easier to use because they don’t heat up as much as the 120 grit sanding bands do. One of the dogs is young and usually fights having her nails ground. With the diamond bits, she held still and the entire job went so much quicker. The shape of the bits naturally rounds the nails removing any sharp edges quickly. I also noticed there was not nearly as much dust in the air with the diamond bit. The bits fit my Dremel Model 7700 perfectly.I highly recommend these Diamond Dog Nail Grinding Bits. The make the job much quicker, and much more comfortable for you and your pet.
