Useful tools for breastfeeding/pumping moms
I am an exclusive pumper but an under supplier so I didnât have much use for the lady bug (itâs very cute though!). I feel like it would be useful for over supplier moms especially if they have very leaky breasts. The Haakaa came in handy for me when I was using my Spectra single electric pump and was only able to pump one side at a time. So I would attach the Haakaa to the opposite side of whatever side I was pumping to start collecting milk. I wouldnât say that it helped me produce any extra milk, but rather it would give me a head start on that side. So if I was consistently pumping out 3 ounces per side in 20 minutes per side, by attaching the Haakaa to one side I could collect about an ounce or 1 1/2 ounces on that side so it would reduce the time needed to pump that side after finishing the other side. So cutting out up to 10 minutes or more of overall pumping time which was very helpful especially during the night. I did try to continue doing 20-30 minute pumping sessions even after using the Haakaa just to see if I could get any more milk but no luck, my output stayed the same each time regardless. The Haakaa also came in handy a few times that we lost power and my electric pump battery died. So I was able to remove a little milk on each side to relieve discomfort until power was restored and I could pump with the Spectra again. So to sum up it was helpful for me when I needed it and Iâm certain that both items would be extremely helpful for over suppliers and those prone to engorgement.

Every mom needs
HUGE FAN! My best friend recommended these to me and they were a lifesaver! They caught so much let down and I used them all through nursing the first four months. I was able to store up so much milk because of it too, which was a huge when for when I had to return to work. Love the pump and the ladybugs!!

Best product for new moms
I cannot recommend this enough. The ladybug position has been the most used by me.I latch baby to one side and catch the milk on the other side.I would have lost so much milk to my breasts pads without the ladybug.

Perfect to use one side while nursing
I love this especially when nursing on one side & put the haaka on the other side ! It different ways to filter out the suction ! TikTok was a big help

The ladybug is very useful
I bought it for the pump didn’t care for the ladybug but ended up loving the ladybug (very easy to use) and don’t use the pump much!

Use to collect overflow and letdown
I love using these two while I feed my baby from one breast and the other one lets down milk. Easy to use and clean.

Great Quality!
This a great quality product, love how easy it is to use without any batteries or cables. Quality of the plastic is superior and helped me a lot in the beginning of my breast feeding journey. Haakaa is a very good brand and I trust their quality products, very durable and easy to wash and dries quickly as well.

Meh
I know some people love these. They are just meh for me. I don’t leak enough to make the lady bug worth it (are people collecting these few drops?). I started incorporating the haaka to try to get my supply up and so dad could feed. The juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. I did better with a “real” powered pump (spectra and momcozy). If I had gone straight to that I might have saved myself a few tears.

My sister in law suggested this for me and I love it !!! The lady bug catches so much letdown itâs crazy ! I have an insane stash. The Hakka pump itself is great as well if you want to up supply or collect colostrum I used it as well ! I donât have any sort of pump, just these two gadgets and I love them ! However if you plan on just exclusively pumping Iâd suggest something more than just this. I am exclusively breast feeding so this worked well. Purchase the lady bug itself if anything for let down !!!

You can easily control the flow yourself, the pump is extra light and small – handy for mums on the go! Havenât used the collector much but when I do – it works well. Great value for money and amazing design. Definitely would recommend!

Should have bought it sooner when I was leaking more at the start of our breastfeeding journey. Catches let down and relieves engorgement, easy to clean and easy to use. The suction from the hakaa is painful at the start and you need to find the best way to attach it. The ladybug is gentler but dislodge more easily than the hakaa.

Easy to collect milk from letdown on the opposite side youâre feeding on. Easy to clean. Great product
