Works exactly as described
Two dogs with short hair and both hate that sharp metal bristle brush. This brush has metallic bristles too but they are capped to take away the skin scratching that comes with others. Best part is that the self cleaning button is awesome! Really works!

I ordered the small one for my persian kitty and boy was it a good purchase! My cat just loves it when I comb her with this brush. It captures the loose hair, smoothes the under coat, soothes the skin and gives her a very neat and tidy look. Itâs self cleaning works very well and over all it looks a well thought and designed product. I will order the bigger size for my pup as well.

Bristles Pack Away
When you first receive the brush. The bristles are stored inside the brush head. You have to hard click to lock the bristles out. Then when finished brushing (or when you need to clean the bristles) you hard click again to release the bristles and they hide back inside the brush head.I ordered the large for our new doodle puppy. Itâs too large for her now but she will grow into it.The metal bristles do have plastic end caps on each.I have seen other slicker brushes and these bristles are a bit in the shorter side compared to some other slicker brushes.

I have a few brushes for my cat but this works the best. The teeth are thin and soft so it doesn’t hurt my cat. She actually loves it. And the quick release makes clean up a breeze. This is exactly what I was looking for.
