Working well!
My female cat pees up, like a male cat spraying. I have always had enclosed litter boxes for her and even then it was sometimes messy. Recently I moved her litter box into the breakfast room and I didn’t want it sitting in the open. I bought a nice cabinet and an open litter box – and now I was back to her peeing on over the sides on to the walls of the cabinet. I bought these shields hoping they would fix that problem.They did!The sticky on the tape is REALLY strong. Be careful to place it exactly where you want it because removing it to change placement is next to impossible. The one thing I was concerned about was the height of the shields. They are much taller than the space in the cabinet. I suppose I could have put the tape lower, below the level of the litter, but that seemed like it would end up messy. Instead I cut them to the height I needed for the side panels. The material is easy to cut, leaves a nice smooth edge, and does not crack. I did not cut the back panel and it sort of bends over.So far there have been no issues and the one time I had to clean one off it was easy.

Easy to install
My 6 month old female decided she didn’t want to squat anymore so she’s peeing straight out the back. I do have taller litterboxes but 2 have lower sides for the older cats. These were so easy to install & have kept the pee inside!I cant say if they’ll hold up to peeling on & off too many times. The velcro seemed sturdy but the back sticky I’m not sure about. Super easy to clean, overall I’m pleased

3 Pcs Cat Litter Box Splash Guard Pee Shields
I placed two shields on one of the litter boxes with the velcro strips. I had to remove one because the velcro strip came undone, and only kept one shield on the side. The shield does keep the spray from hitting the walls, which was aggravating me. However, the velcro does not stay attached to the box, because the litter granules got between the two strips, and it’s only half attached to the box. When it’s time to clean the litter box, not sure what you’re supposed to do, remove the shields and replaced them which is what I do, and becomes more difficult every time I have to to the litter box cleaning. I may have to just remove the shields eventually, because it’s a lot of work. It’s a good idea but needs some better design. Also, I purchased them for convenience which it’s more of an annoyance, and think the price was kind of high for three sheets of plastic.

I have had these on the litter box for less than a day and I’m 100% absolutely thrilled with them!! Installation was a breeze, even without instructions, they were simple and easy to put on the box. I almost got the 6 pack because it’s a bigger box, but the offending cat that likes to pee standing up always goes in the back or on one side, so I got just 3 and put them on both sides and the back. They fit great, even with just 3, and stay put!! I did use a strip of double sided tape to keep the 3 pieces together at the top. And now no more pee spots on the floor that I have to clean up every day at least once a day!! Hurrah!!! Best purchase I’ve made all year!

Doesnât allow room for using litter liner
Cannot use a litter liner using this product! I have tried to use them, by cutting small holes along Velcro to place shields up. My senior cat does not squat when she pees so these are needed! As she no longer can use a deep litter box! I need something different that can be used with the litter liner bags! Please recommended and help !! This is not good! Too small and stickiness too strong! Cannot take off and clean!

I hate this thing but had to get it because I had a new stainless steel pan that perfectly fit the spot where “someone” had been peeing. The new pan fixed the peeing on floor problem but then the “pees over the side” cat discovered this box. Sigh. So I installed these. They are ugly but better then pee all over the floor. I added small binder clips to keep the sides together.

I have high side litter trays but a cat who pees high away from his feet. Always had a bit over the tray side. These have been a blessing. No more spills over the side. Big thanks to whoever thought of this. It’s so good and easy to use and clean.
