works with my color pro
I have a Wahl corded Color Pro and these fit perfectly. I have used them once to give myself a pixie. I used the guards that came with the Color Pro for the back and got a really nice fade. Used the 2 inch guard for the top. I have baby fine hair that runs from scissors, clippers, etc, so the two inch guard actually gave me about 2 or 2 1/2 inch cut. Just what I wanted. It took a few minutes to learn the technique but overall it was much quicker and easier to do the pixie with the guards than with guides, scissors, and a razorblade comb.

They mostly fit my Wahl
My Wahl clippers are from the 80’s (but still going strong) and these fit them pretty well. It takes a little effort to get them on securely but then they work fine. I mainly got them for the really long ones so I could cut my own hair. (the back is really hard to do.) I find them much easier to use on someone else than on myself. You have to be aware of how the hair is passing through the guard because it is easy to cut it longer than you meant, especially using the longer attachments. I think it’s mostly a learning curve.

Does not fit all Wahl’s clippers
I bought the Wahls color pro (corded) clippers after reading a review that said these clipper guards fit them. They don’t. I just returned the said Wahl’s clippers to the store. I am going to buy one more Wahl’s clippers this week hoping these guards fit them. I will update this review soon.Update: 11/9 – I bought one more Wahl’s clippers hoping these clipper guards would snap on to them. They don’t. These are going back. If your Wahl’s clipper blade is 1.75″ in width (the side where the cutting teeth are) and 1.5″ in length, these guards won’t fit. I’ll try ordering a different set of clipper guards on amazon.

Lightweight and flimsy guards
Compared to the smaller guards that came with my Wahl trimmer, these rattled a lot and had a lot of flex in the plastic. It could be because these are so much bigger than the smaller guards that come with the trimmer, but I didnât feel comfortable with the cheap feeling plastic, so I returned it.
