Quality Product – Lots of Options!
If you enjoy different kinds of fan or “color” noises (i.e., white, pink, brown, blue, etc) then you’ve found the right noise machine! It has way more options than any other one for these types of noises. It’s a bummer when you have 30 noises but only want/ use the few colored noise options. I was afraid some of the space/ celestial sounding ones would sound creepy or cosmic (like binaural music) but they were just other, pleasant noise options like the colored noises. I didn’t care for most of the fan options but fans aren’t my favorite sounds anyway. If you like fan options… there’s plenty! The one thing I don’t care for, so far, is that to turn it off, you have to press the power button a few times to cycle through the timers, and then it will turn off. It’s a very small annoyance and isn’t a deal-breaker – just wish they had designed those as separate buttons. I’m also a little bummed there’s no nature sounds like rain or brook, but I hardly use those so I don’t mind not having those when there are so many other choices.The overall feel is pretty hefty, in a good way. Doesn’t feel cheap or chintzy. Has rubber feet so it wont slide around. Sounds are quality and not at all fake or tinny. It’s small enough I think one could travel with it, but there are smaller options out there.*UPDATE* 2 years later and I still LOVE this thing! I bought a slightly cheaper noise machine (Easysleep) for my son’s room to save a little money and wish I had just got this one again. I tested a few other options for him and all of them felt cheap compared to this… and this one was only $5-10 more. And the noise options on the others were often tinny. I say if you want white or fan noises go with this one! The only thing I’ll note after two years is that the power button symbol has faded ever so slightly. No big deal to me but if that matters to someone…

Love this little noise box!
This little noise machine has done wonders for my sleep. I have to have my window open at night and highway 90 is not far away, not to mention train tracks. There’s also people in the same apartment complex who get up in the middle of the night to go smoke. So I put this little white box near my window and its really remarkable how much it masks those noises. The ONLY thing I was SLIGHTLY bothered by was that I was hoping the sounds would be “authentic” rain or wind, etc. But it really doesn’t matter to be honest. I like the one that sounds like airplane cabin noise. If this one broke I’d buy another one just like it again. You can set it for 15 to 30 minutes, but I just leave it going all night. Great invention! Oh and the price is right!

Makes noise, baby sleeps!
There’s not a lot of bells and whistles to this which is why I bought it. No nightlight, no app. Baby needs noise for the entire length of sleep so I appreciate that there is no automatic shutoff or forced timer mode.Baby sleeps great with this on and the volume can go way up which is perfect for us. Much smaller footprint and nicer looking than many of the other sound machines. It’s lightweight and remembers the last sound it was on (the volume will sometimes start out higher or lower than last time but the actual sound will be the same). Great buy.

Good machine, poor power cord
This is a good little machine, been working for a while for my son. The power cord seems to be the weak point as it’s starting to wear out and work intermittently. Would be nice to get a replacement cord, or, even better, if it used something readily available like USB-C. Now I have to buy a whole new unit because of the cord. I’ll be buying something that uses an easier replacement cord.

Recommend for toddlers and babies, not so much adults unless you like extremely loud noise
I thought this was a safe bet going with this noise machine because of all the great reviews but I realized after I got it that the lowest volume setting is extremely loud. I wanted to use it for myself and my husband but itâs just too loud for us, so I was planning on returning, but found it to be absolutely perfect for my toddler son because he needs a higher level of noise anyway. It really drowns out so much sound coming from outside his room, especially during naps when people are walking right outside his door.

So many settings!
This white noise machine has a practically infinite number of sound settings. I personally like the one that sounds like a roaring fire with crickets in the background. I was unable to make the volume increase or decrease but I find it is the perfect sound level. Also this unit has two different USB ports which is super convenient. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
