Great Product!
As a new time mom, I absolutely love the Hatch Rest Baby Sound Machine and Night Light! Itâs been such a lifesaver for creating a calming bedtime routine. The variety of soothing sounds is amazingâperfect for helping little ones (or even me!) fall asleep. I especially like how the nightlight gives off a soft, warm glow thatâs not too bright but just enough to move around without tripping over anything.Being able to control everything from the app is such a convenience. I can adjust the settings without even stepping into the room, which is great when the baby is already asleep. Itâs sleek, easy to use, and honestly, it just works. If youâre looking for something to help with sleep and routines, I canât recommend this enough!

Toddler sleep level unlocked!
My husband and I love the 2nd Generation Rest! We actually also have the first generation and are very impressed with the upgrades. Not only there’s a sleeker design with a cleaner touch ring but we’re also able to turn on the clock during daylight hours to help with our toddler’s nap and sleep routines. The Hatch App lets us control all these steps so we don’t have to touch the machine. It’s so nice to not worry about when we’re focused on getting our kid out of the bath, and into bed every evening. Our daughter loves the blue light and her sleep has improved over the last week we’ve had this hatch. The rain sound is more realistic than the previous one. Additionally, we can control the volume and light anywhere in our house so when it’s truly lights out and she’s asleep I am able to dim the light from another room which is probably my most used feature. The Hatch+ subscription looks to have even more settings I could unlock like sleep stories and more sounds that we will likely take advantage of as our daughter gets older. Hatch has really put a lot of work and effort into making the experience for customers really customizable and I don’t know what we would do without it in our lives. Thank you, Hatch!

Game changer!
We have been having some rough nights with a newborn. She has been harder to put to sleep and get calm at night compared to her brother. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get this sound machine. So happy I did. So far we have been able to get her the sleep faster.Itâs easy to use and set up. So many sounds and colors to play with. Love that it runs all night and mimics what she was use to in the womb.Definitely get it.

I had my first daughter 1 year ago. At the time I didnât want to splurge on the Hatch baby. We decided to go for a cheaper machine that we got at Walmart. We are expecting baby number 2, and I decided to go ahead and get the Hatch baby since they will not be sharing a room. I think this is just a case of good marketing. If you are not connected to the app then the sound machine is rendered useless. I had connected the machine and used it for 2 days. Then I was putting my daughter down for a nap and tried to connect and it was not working. I tried resetting it, unplugging it, I could not get it to work in time for nap time. Thankfully I have my trusty Walmart sound machine that you just plug in and go. It has different colored lights on top, a night light that adjusts just by tapping it, and various sound options. This device is cool and gimmicky, but completely unnecessary and unreliable. Donât feel like you need it or are missing out if you donât have it. I gave 4 stars because I donât want to be rude and lower itâs rating.

A bit of an issue at first but now is working smoothly
I bought this on May 18, when I got it I tested it and everything worked as it should with no problem at all, about 2 weeks pass after this and I gave birth and when I got home and went to use it, the sound wasn’t working at all, I connected and disconnected a couple of times and nothing, I was only using the light for about 3 months straight, I was so upset about this cause of the price.. after those 3 months passed, out of no where, the sound started working again and I havent stopped using the Hatch since, I am so glad and happy that now is fully working as it should. Not sure how it got fixed but it did. I never stopped trying to play music or rain sounds and disconnecting and connecting it.

Great sound machine
We love our Hatchs’! We have two of the big ones and one small one. They work great. I love that you can use an app to control them and you can to presets for the preferred sounds and lights. Highly recommend. It really helps my kids sleep better. I think I will have to order one specifically for my room after we move the babies into their rooms, I will miss having it.

Would Buy Again
As a mom of 3 littles, the hatch rest sound machine and light works extremely well. I love the clock feature on this version, and the app is very user friendly. It is nice to have all of our care takers being able to adjust the settings when needed. We do use it for travel as it is portable. This version updated the cord port and button placement, which has improved the overall design. I would highly recommend for any baby registry.

Great for toddlers to learn when to wake
I love the size and ease of use. The app has some great features like creating a schedule of lights and sounds and using the built in music for wind down time. My son likes to touch the ring before bed to turn out his own light. I only wish it would get a little bit brighter so that I could use it for reading before bed without needing to be right next to it. Itâs very high quality, but also expensive if you only plan to use as an ok-to-wake clock.

Love the Hatch products.- nice lighting to choose from and dimmable- lot of sound options and volume- can change settings from phone- perfect size does not take up a lot of room on dresser- helps with sleeping – we currently have one in our room too- easy to move from room to room without loosing settings- new app is a bit confusing to get used to- subscription for more benefits is quite expensive but even without the subscription you have lots of optionsIâd buy one again for all our kids rooms! Highly recommended and a great product for baby shower.
